Got the cricket on. T20 Champs league in South Africa. Some great names playing. Of course Yorkshire are involved.
not till tuesday though. i believe our local BBC Radio Station has full coverage of all their games with full build-up to each. oh hang on, Grimsby and Louth have games so they couldnt justify it!!!!!!!
You're forgetting that Rangers forgot to get a proper manager in for this season and so had to stick with Ally McDoughnut. As a result they've had to sign SPL players and internationals just to try and get out of the Scottish Third Division (Not that it's working )
update: 59 minutes gone. commentary in gaelic with comments in english from Alloa manager, Paul Hartley. Quite comical actually it's like listening to the muppets with swedish chef taking a lead with Beaker assisting, whilst kermit interupts every now and again to provide some understanding. oh and it is riveting stuff at 0 - 0
update 2: it's raining and the floodlights are on. still a jim henson production on the commentary. oh and partick are winning 1 - 0
addendums: the cowdenbeath racewall is best known for stock car racing, and Paul Hunter could well be in the crowd!
First game in the main tourney is on Tuesday. But we already beat Trinidad & Tobago (West Indies Champions, who had 5 members of the West Indies team that won the T20 World Cup) and Uva Next (Sri Lankan Champions) to qualify. Shows the value of teamwork and a largely home-grown, home-developed squad over random teams of mercenaries.
