Aww. Intelligence is not just about exam results. I used to do poor at written exams, but give me a speaking and listening exam and I will get A*s all the way. Im sure you are the same.

That's half a normal workday for me! ;)

Hmm - Marmite :( A poor man's substitute for Vegemite - my three oldest boys, all strapping six-footers, cut their teeth on the stuff.

As was I, H - in fact I suspect that I besmirched the good name of WBGS. There's nothing like a few years of life experience to prepare you for Uni though.

Afternoon all from a bright & sunny bandit country - I am being treated by Little Miss W_Y this evening, she is taking me to see Ed Sheeran at The Hammersmith Apollo tonight and we are going up early for some lunch and a few drinks - so with the train tickets and food and drink, this drink will be costing me a few quid <yikes>!!
    So, see's ya later...

If our schools were the same as yours Frenchie. I would think the towns have more student in each school.

Little Ak is teaching me where to put commas, colons and semi-colons in english. So I will be able to write lists and separate ideas inside a sentence better, and understand why.

If you can do that AK, you will be smarter than me. I have never understood where, or when, to use colons and semi-colons.

I still remember a sadistic English teacher setting us this to punctuate: (it's possible but not easy to make sense of!)

time flies we cannot they fly too fast

My heart was in my mouth from the second he stood up till he landed safely. I could not help but think, what happens if something goes wrong. There would be no surviving that! EEKS

Morning all, a bright sunny morning with just a little autumnal mist laying across the fields. ;)

Tried to order some materials via the internet yesterday, only to find that my UK issued credit card had a security block on it. Having spoken to three different people I am non the wiser as to why it had a block on it, but at least it is up and running again. It would be helpful if you knew they had carried the action out before you spent ages trying to get a transaction through. :(

Walking practice again today, with a visit to the physio this evening. Three sessions with her this week so am feeling quite optimistic that with the progress made so far I will be on the move without two crutches before long. Might take a little longer to get <party>

The United Kingdom is made of four parts and Skótland wants to be independent, so they will have a referendum. Why do the other three parts not have one as well?

With this the Skóts can vote for independence and go on their own, but what would happen if all of the UK voted to get rid of Skótland but the Skóts wanted to stay in the UK?

Also how much independence will they have. Complete with no link to any other country or something like they have now where England Wales and North Ireland pays their bills?
