Very level headed from Harps. Hopefully Krul can give Pardew a major for next season.

Aye, great to see Krul get a good few games run out again! And of course brilliant to see Harps having no qualms about sitting aside and letting Krul take the reins. Never thought otherwise of course, never doubted his professionalism one bit.

People slate Harps saying he has no ambition, no desire to prove himself...At the end of the day, he's a Newcastle fan, playing (or even deputising) for the club he loves - millions of people stay in the north east all their lives, why should he HAVE to be different, he's happy here, his family is happy here and **** it man, he's living the dream!

Harper is a legend, but Krul should be our number 1.

Krul is too erratic and is too easy to beat at 1 on 1s in my opinion - watch most goals scored past them, he doesn't do anywhere near enough! Top class shot stopper though (the more difficult the better)!

Clean sheet and a Judas-to-be cock up are all he's conceded in this stint! ;)

I love Harps. He's always been there for the club, does exactly what is asked of him and never complains.

Complete legend, wish more were like him.

Again Harper has shown how much of a Legend he is. He is a quality guy and has done an awful lot for the club. Hopefully one day we will become our manger as I think he would make a great manger (I know he wants to be a ref but he would make a great coach.) An all round nice guy and i hope and think he will be number 1 next year and leave it till the year after for Forster and Krul to battle it out.

I'd love to see Harper given the Keeper coaching role. Who is it at the moment? I know the previous one was sacked along with Hughton, so is there still a vacancy?
