Wouldn't the inside line for turn 1 give him a weaker exit and leave him vulnerable at turn 3?

It seems likely now that Vettel will win this years WDC and most likely next years too. Red Bull just seem to be one step ahead of everyone else and it doesn't look like that situation will alter at least until after the rule changes in 2014. I was hoping that this year would be different after starting well with so many different winners but it's now heading towards the usual climax. Maybe Alonso can still pull something out of the bag tomorrow if the Ferrari's race pace is quick and Vettel falters, but it's not looking good. It would certainly be good for F1 if the season were to go down to the wire at Interlagos, but bad if we are entering several years of one team domination again.

Hamilton is "undecided" on his race-plan for Korea... let's just hope the team don't move him to the dreaded 'plan B'!

It's going to be a right dogfight between the top 4.

You must excuse me Forza, the lack of sleep is getting to me.

I guess it will depend how badly Seb will defend against him if he does get beside him going into turn 1. Jenson pushed him close last time but Seb still got Lewis after the straight so I don't think it will punish him at all tomorrow considering last year by the same situation he should of been miles down the road with the better exit but he didn't, inside outside it doesn't change much here considering the not so fast pace where the top 3 will be starting.

In all seriousness I think Alonso will be dealt the worst hand going into turn 1, Lewis will likely try to get in front, Seb will defend and focus on the best exit, Kimi will follow Lewis into turn 1 with more speed than Alonso while he will likely have to slow down more as Seb is focusing on exit speed than trying to get into the corner first so he can just nail Mark down the straight.

Seb just needs to make sure his exit is as good as Webber's and the slipstream will do all the rest, though I do expect a 3-way going into turn 2!

And also by looking at Sebs body language after qualifying it does seem to be that he will either get a free pass on Webber early on in the race to give him the clean air to run away, or he knows he has much better race pace than Webber resulting in the win eventually anyway. I think he twigged pretty quickly that it's his team mate in front of him, not a McLaren or a Ferrari.

Either way Seb just looks very confident about something!

Can't just be me that's hoping for Alonso and Vettel to take each other out at the first corner and Hamilton/Raikkonen going on to win can it?

I doubt it, most of the time Seb and Alonso are good in close combat, same goes with Lewis and Kimi.

Well it's very simple really. Grosjean hits Massa off the start, the resulting train takes out Hamilton and Vettel (Kimi and Alonso are busy pushing each other off track). Rosberg jumps Hulkenberg, and Kimi and Webber are both hit with alternator failures. And Alonso crashes. And Button crashes. And Schumacher. And Kobayashi. And Perez. And Maldonado. And that guy whose name escapes me, he beat Vettel in F3 I think.

    Simples! <diva>
