Wonder what's the reason for selling? Obviously on form and scoring goals. Is he a bad club man? Bad influence in the dressing room? Seems a strange transfer to me.
It's club policy at the Posh, to transfer list any player who is in their final year and won't agree a new deal.
From what i can gather, the posh fans were on his case a bit, Guessing he isnt too impressed considering his scoring record so doesnt want to stay.
He's definitely better than Mclean, he's scored 13 in 42 games in the Championship for the worst team in the league and he's the sort of striker we're missing. I doubt we'll go for him, but i'd be happy if we did.
I remember saying that we should sign him when he was clear man of the match against us, playing for Macclesfield. He got a standing ovation that night. It's probably worth buying him, just to make sure that he can't play against us again.
I wouldn't put money on it but I thought it was 2 goals in 1 game for Chesterfield(?) and 5 in 2 for Peterborough? Is this correct?
He got two for Macclesfield in the League Cup detritus last season, then got that hat trick earlier this season. He certainly loves playing against us, but it seems unnecessary when we have a very similar player in Jay Simpson.

We shouldnt go for players just because they are good against us, weve done that before Ryan Williams anyone. No saying he would end up the same its just a point
