Have been in touch with the Sunderland Echo and got a reply from a guy, who was recently in Kenya for the Echo, and is interested in this project. Not sure what they will be able to help with, but he would like to speak with someone in the Sunderland area, who can possibly help this along, might only be a collection point, might be assistance with sending stuff..who knows? Anyone seriously willing to help out, PM me give me yr e-mail address and I'll pass it on
Well done Norway, your a good lad, im on to the post office in Kenya asking why they charge on the parcels when its already been paid for. will let you know the outcome.
If no-one wants to help, i'll just have to tell the Echo that we are all just promises but no action. I will try to sort it myself, but he might lose interest, as no-one locally is bothered. I've done what I can so far - sent a couple of shirts etc, and it would seem a shame to let all those promised shirts, shorts, boots etc. just go to waste, when we could possibly get some help, to help the kids in Kenya. Note: If anyone PMs me from now, I wont be able to get it until Monday, flying back to see some family and going to the match
