It's easy for Hill to try and instil some confidence, but until Hughes comes up with a defensive line-up that can hold its own and not give away silly goals then the pressure is justified. I don't particularly want a change of manager, seen too many of those, but fortunes need to change and whilst confidence in the squad may be good, it's results that count. Hill and his co-defenders should make a pact if they play poorly or concede soft goals to publicly apologise for their inept performance. We need to get a couple of strong defenders.... roll on Jan '13!

But it's not three or four bad results is it - It's more like 2 away points since he started 9 months ago. That's 22 points out of a possible 75! . Even Warnock got us 17 out of a possible 60 before the following came in - Diakite,Taiwo,Granero,Zamora,Ceaser,Green,Hoillet,Park,Johnson,Onuoha,Nelsen,Cisse. He's had 25 games to bed in his style - I appreciate the desire not to go down the revolving door again and that serious money has been spent, however, this is not a guy who has just come in, he's been in charge for 75 points worth of games and got us 22, what are our players expecting him to turn around? Hughes just doesn't have it in him and all this "support" is making me even more anxious that this guy is still going to be here in 2 months time which is when alot are saying is a fair time to dismiss then. Thing is at this rate we'll then have 11-15 points - in a worse position then the year before, where we got through on using up a few miracles. I'm literally crapping myself over all this support to give him more time - Please let this be a ploy and TF and Beard holding interviews as we speak, and hopefully with an out of work Spansish guy with the initials RB!
That was my thinking too, he hasnt a hope if they arent behind him but seeing as they are, he stands a chance of turning it around.
I was with you until your last 2 letters! Then I'm not sure - is RB the sort of Manager that can turn it around quick? Cos he won't have long with all the current dithering, even if TF has gotten that far
By the time TF decides that his time is up (and that's a big if), we'd have to be in the relegation zone with not much time left to get out. Which top manager in their right mind would join us?
RB Not the right type for a dog fight. Harry would be my only choice,because he is probably the only one to be able to turn things round quickly
Makes sense to me, short term til the end of the season. Gives Tf time to find a new man..What would happens to Tarbs though ? Didnt HR sell him to us..?
Harry until the end of the season is the only realistic solution. Unfortunately I can see us in the Championship with that miserable bastard Hughes still in charge next year. May god forbid that TF is that stupid.
