    Also worth checking out San Marino's almost sensational point against Ireland. Manuel Marani scored an equaliser straight out of Laurel & Hardy, but Stephen Ireland stole the winner in the 95th minute. Steve Staunton praised his side's "tremendous fighting spirit". He lost his job. Marani will probably start up front tonight and is the top scorer with two goals.

    We look very uncomfortable so far that they are set up so negatively. They might fall apart if they concede remains to be seen. Also they are likely to completely run out of steam in the 2nd half
