    Tonight's starting XI(allegedly)...

Hart, Walker, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines, Carrick, Cleverley, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rooney (c) & Welbeck

Minimum handicap is England -5 at 4/6... 1/200 for a win, crazy when you think Spain are only at 1/6 to beat Belarus! Think 5-0 would be a good bet, we have a habit of putting 5 past these ****e countries consistently but never seem to get more. San Marino are impressively rather **** though, didn't holland anally rape them 13-0 in the euro qualifiers?

    no defoe ?

What annoys me about England is, Rooney could play terrible (and he does alot for England!) and he would be in the next game. He is undroppable and I have no idea why ?

Because he's one of a child's handful of world class players we currently have.

    Some facts about the Marina's..

    5) There's not many of them

One of the biggest problems facing San Marino's manager is that he doesn't have many players to choose from. There are just 31,000 people living there, meaning you could fit the entire country's population Wembley Stadium's seats, three times over.

    4) Twin-credible

Goalkeeper Aldo Simoncini and twin brother Davide, who plays in midfield, hold a unique international record. They are the only twins to have scored own goals in the same match when San Marino lost to Sweden in September 2010.

    3) Hat-tricks galore

Wayne Rooney and Andy Carroll are set to start up-front for England tonight and they'll be looking to get in on the goals. The last two times these teams have met, an England player has scored four times.

    2) Homesickness

San Marino have NEVER won away in a World Cup qualification game and have avoided defeat just twice in the past decade. In fact they haven't tasted victory since April 27 2004, when they beat Liechtenstein 1-0 in a friendly. It remains their only win in international football. Ever.

    1) Bananaskin?

But San Marino do hold the record for scoring the fastest-ever goal in a World Cup qualification game - and it came against England. In 1993 Davide Gualtieri scored after just eight seconds to give his side a 1-0 lead. England eventually came back to win the game 7-1, but they won't want the same thing happening again tonight.

You'd have thought this would be a good game to give Butland or whoever the other keeper is a chance. Instead of giving them it in a friendly, it would give them competitive experience at a national level in game we're likely to win at Wembley.

The Netherlands beat them 11-0 in the last round of qualifiers, for this year's Euros. I remember Germany beating them 13-0 away though sometime around 2005 or 2006

PS. I'm going for a maximum of a 2-0 win

Also I like the look of that team, especially if Defoe was starting ahead of Welbeck.

Rooney hasn't scored in a major competition for England since Euro 2004. Theoretically, it should be Peter Crouch and Defoe up top.

Maybe I don't pay enough attention to the Premier League or am just a bit weary with football these days, but that team looks really quite weak. By that I mean that we just don't seem to have any real 'world-class' players except maybe Hart and Rooney and Baines is a much under rated player.

Did I hear Jonjo Shelvey was called up? ****ing hell, what's become of us?

And yes, Defoe should be playing.

The five facts I copied from a BBC page, the starting XI is from Sky, one of them thinks Carroll is playing, the other doesn't.

The two games I saw Carroll play for WHU he did very well, which he will for anyone if they play to his strengths. Yes 35 million was hugely over priced, but "King Kenny" Didn't help himself by playing a style of football that was the opposite to how you need to play with Carroll up front, he's an awful manager.
