Rangers were such a quality side, that's why Davies joined Southampton and not Barcalona! If this guy was a poster, he'd be known as a WUM!
Anyway, as far as I could see he was pretty much spot on with everything he said. He is an all round good ****.
Well I guess thats up to you. I'd rather have a club that I know is being run properly and has people within it that are respected and acknowledged as good businessmen and football people. I'd like to think that if our chairman came out with something like this the backlash would be huge against him. I understand that fans are fickle I just find it rather odd that so far no-one on here has come out and said that he shouldn't be saying these sorts of things. Instead people seem to love him for it. But trust me when I say having someone like this as your chief exec will do your club no good what so ever.
Can I ask how old you are(and not in an ER way), I'm guessing you are pretty young, either that you lot are just a bit soft, I suppose that will happen after decades of Pompey's 6.57 squad kicking the living **** out of you any time they want.
Rangers fans are kind of the opposite of that sentiment. They claim no-one likes them but they've rallied round Charles Green basically because he's blamed everyone else for their demise and they make complaints about daft things like build-up montages on BBC claiming they're being "victimised", "kicked when they're down" etc. Boots on the other foot and they love Chuckles having a go at any old team that flits through his bizarre mind. Honestly, if you'd heard the victim crap Chuckles has come out with up here then to just slate other clubs like this offhand is mental. If an English team's chairmen said this about Rangers, Rangers would've made an official complaint - they have complained about far less this season the sensitive wee souls
Ha. Love it. Can't argue my points so start asking for age. No I am not "pretty young". I am worried for you though if you are through the education system, have a job and still have this view of the world. If you are im guessing you are stuck in an extreamely dull dead end job on minimum wage. It would kind of make sense. I was interested in seeing how different fans view different behaviours by chief executives and people involved in their clubs. So thank you for your opinion anyway
To be honest if the majority of fans on here, share the belief of the few so far and the normal everyday fan agrees then what you say makes total sense. Just seems a shame to have to rally around in this all against me argument rather than changing the club for the better and getting on with it. No class I guess.
Yeah, but there's the difference: you don't support Rangers. They're just happy to have a vehicle to drive their knuckledragging hatred of everything and everyone
Hahaha, yep, you've certainly got my number, I have no education and am stuck in a dead end job and plus I live in a **** place. I brought up your age, because I can't see why you would care what he said and I didn't argue your "points" because as I previously stated, I think he was spot on, the small footballing world(as you describe it), would rather watch Man U v Rangers as opposed to against Southampton or Swansea.
I hate the fans we have that complain about silly stuff. ****ing grow up. As for Green, I don't trust the guy but it makes me smile when he gets Timmy all flustered
Hey it makes no difference to me what your guy goes and says. However, after reading it on the front page of a website I was interested in finding out if the fans shared the same, in my opinon warped view, as this guy. Turns out many do. Why does it matter what people would rather watch? I get the feeling that people would rather watch Man U v Barcelona everyday as opposed to Man U v Rangers, no? Just because teams are bigger in no way means that they should control what gets shown or should be shown playing bigger sides more often. If you ask me these so called lesser clubs (of which you are one whether you like it or not!) have earnt the right to play these teams.
For a one team city, I am assuming this guy supports Southampton, so maybe don't go about tarring all Rangers fans with the same brush wee man. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-19924311
It is called capitalism that is just the way the world works. The big boys bully the wee boys and will be like that for the foreseeable future, I would guess.
Are you likening yourself to this guy in the link? You are a very very strange "wee man". Don't you worry, I do know some rangers fans and fortunately for them they are nothing like you
Sorry but your wrong. If this was the way the world worked then your little super european league or getting your club into the EPL would have happened a long time ago. Fortunately there are people that fight for the little guys
Yeah, but you do realise 99 times out of a 100 the big guy wins, please tell you know this? Anyway, because I am so poorly educated, i need to go and flip some burgers as the mid-afternoon rush is beginning and the blasted things don't flip themselves, but hopefully you will still be here when I get back. I haven't had this much fun since gambol shat on the couch.
