Lloris is better than Friedel, simple as that. He should stay in for all the important lge games at least, and ATM, they're all important. For sure he should play against Chelsea, I'll be fuming at AVB if he drops him.

It would be a ridiculously unnecessary and stupid risk to play an inferior keeper against the league leaders - why would anyone even think of doing such a thing?

    From Newsnow:
"Lloris dispels unrest rumours", "No regrets for Spurs keeper", "Lloris denies Villas-Boas unrest" and "I didn't join Spurs to sit on the bench! Lloris sends message to AVB over Friedel rivalry".
Guess which one's written anonymously and reported by the Fail?

I think he's proved plenty, both here and in France. He almost cost us a goal v Villa, Friedel costs us a goal on a regular basis, LLoris two clean sheets out of 3.

average goals conceded this season 0.33.

Brad - 8 goals conceded from 6 - 1.33 goals per game, it's pretty obvious to me from the stats and their respective status in world football who is the best - yep that's Hugo.

You're right TF. what can't be manipulated is that Lloris is better than Friedel. Better at crosses, better at shot-stopping, better at being a sweeper keeper, just full stop better IMHO of course, but also check out out any independent rankings of keepers Hugo will be above Brad - it's obvious why. I can't think of one major department of keeping that Brad beats Hugo in.

It is absolutely beyond me that some people can't see that Lloris is the better keeper, but hey. c'est la foot.

Fair comment, but I think Lloris is better than Cudicini and Brad and Gomes, so Hugo's the one who should start v Chelsea.

Also in the Prem, Lloris has got a 100% clean sheet record, while the only other Prem keeper, Brad, has conceded at a rate of 1.33 per game. so the stats again favour Hugo.
