How about the fact that, for all his faults, he is a great footballer? And isn't the love of football the common denominator that binds all of us on here, regardless of tribal loyalties?
I would love to watch him play if he stuck to what he does best, it is the facial grimacies, the screeming and waving of arms, the waving of imaginary cards and the pulling down of socks to examin a supposed bruise when no contact has been made that spoils football for me.
Watch the reaction of his fellow professionals (including many of his team mates) while the above actions are going on, they are closer to the action and know what he is doing!
You just described Christiano. Bet you didn't refuse to watch while he played for you. Do you begrudge all those wins as tainted because he was part of them? I'm not one for the conspiracy theories here but as has been said there is a lot wrong with modern football but instead of the media & FA looking at that they seem fascinated all of a sudden with one player as if he invented it all. It's very convenient. I see that Terry race discussion just went on & on & on...oh no wait...it didn't did it? Pukis having to start answering what exactly he's there for if his sides don't actually play football....nope we'll not discuss that. The fact that the FA has had since Klinsmans time to drive diving & other forms of cheating out of the game...nope, we're not discussing that. The fact that all of us are guilty of allowing the paying a group of very young men so much money & adding hero status to the point they think they are above any law or moral code...na, we'll not discuss that. it's all contained within one foreign player ....make an example of him and all this will go away. Of course if you are all exactly right about everything regarding Suarez, he sits at home laughing at you all, calling him names while he picks up another big pay. Of course in reality he's not, he's spent a quiet evening at home with his wife & daughter. At the weekend he'll maybe invite Coates & Lucas round & cook them & their partners a quiet dinner which is what he seems to do most weekends. Meanwhile those "proper" footballers are spit roasting the latest in a long line of drunk 17 year old girls while there bottle blonde wife sits at home with the kids or possibly is lying on their back getting pounded by Terry. Glad we have our "moral" priorities right in football.
At no time have I ever made any reference to a "victim mentality". But reading this, I can see why others have. Shoulda just written the first sentence ( a ****ing year ago ! ) and left it at that
Eh ? 'as t'internet not reached oop your way yet, Dirty ? Or papers, or Telly, or t'wireless ? What a fecking gormless argument
The ham actor returns, whats up ginger have your fellow tweeters got bored with your inane ramblings, i see you blame every Turk for the murders of the two Leeds supporters(RIP)you sad twat, you're ****ing demented lad. Stick to what you do best ginger, racism and slagging Utd over Munich on twitter instead of infesting our board.
I have no problem with criticising a United player when it's obvious he's a tool. I find the blind loyalty shown by some Liverpool fans to a cheating, racist prick like Suarez to be odd and childish.
What are your thoughts on the following: Young and Wellbecks diving antics Nani's childish antics Rio's endorsement of the term 'choc ice'
I hate diving, I can't understand why players do it. I hate it whether it's Suarez, Young or Welbeck. I'm not a fan of Nani, I hope we cash in next summer. Rio has a habit of saying and tweeting stupid things. Like most footballers he can be a bit of a tool at times. I love the club not the players. I don't understand why people are prepared to endorse racism and cheating to support a prick like Suarez who probably doesn't give a **** about Liverpool or the fans. They must be simple.
Who is endorsing racism and cheating? Suarez clearly dived. But the press coverage he is getting is terrible - it's as if he invested diving. Was there any coverage when your players dived? No. My problem is that some players are getting off lightly from the public and media but others are targeted (mainly Suarez.
