My mate has got his laptop back with him so hopefully my disc will work and he can burn you a copy whilst I am away!
He's not in this week but he has got a disc I gave him before he went, so when I come back it all should be done, if not I will let you know!
thank you, that'd be totally fab! ...no rush, i'll try and be positive from Monday, even without something to compete with! lol
Just do some interval training, all out for 1 minute max gear, then recover for a minute, then blast again until you can do no more
okay, i'll try that..though i was quite enjoying my steady place for 45 minutes..and blimey, i sweated bucket loads! lol
Nah, it's alright I can get motivated for things that I want to do and I can motivate others, after being in the RAF for so long I hope I can pull it off I can do therefore I will do!
lol...i'm like that too. When i decide to do something, there's no stopping me..it's only when i think i'm failing, having given it my all, i start quitting...but i have to feel i've given it everything first..
Well I managed to lose weight when on holidaynow weighing in at 15st 11lbs Happy Days Tomorrow I am getting a cortisone injection in my elbow Has anyone on here had one already? I keep hearing nightmare stories, must admit to being a little bit nervous
Never had one Al, but do know that they can bring relief for quite a long time, up to a couple of years. As far as I know the problems arise if you have too many of them which can affect the tissue around the joint.
I've had a couple in each knee - years ago though, back in the days when needles were needles and you could either draw blood through them or knit with them. Seriously though, I don't recollect that they were particularly painful - more unpleasant in that I could feel them inside the joint. They certainly eased the pain I was experiencing though.
my mum has had a couple, and although uncomfortable, she's never had problems with them ...and well done you!!! very proud of you, Mr Slim!
since the bat mitzvah, i've gone a little carb crazy and have managed to gain at least half a stone, silly me! So, back to the grind on Monday, the new diet (which is hugely similar to the old one) is quite exciting...watch this space!
Go for it H! Well I will not be rushing back for another hydrocortisone injection in a hurry The jab went alright stung a bit then the nightmare began, about an hour later I started getting pain in my elbow which then resulted in me feeling light headed and sweaty, so I splashed water on my face but thought f*** this for a game of soldiers I am off to the Med centre where I was seen by the Doctor straight away BP taken and it dropped like a stone, was told to go lay down in the quiet room where I was given tea, a choccy biccy and sympathy by the staff in there!45 minutes later my BP had gone up enough for me to go back to work where I had lunch and drove home. Where I have vegged out all afternoon Still feel like cr@p and the pain is a nightmare so sleeping will be interesting I feel an early weekend coming on as there is no way I can see myself getting up early and washing, shaving, showering and putting uniform on! Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow though
