Guy in my work showed me the Dead Pool him and his mates have going.

You have to pay a pound a week and whoever croaks 1st gets all the money. Then it starts all over again.

Prince Philip, Queenie, Van Morrison, Thatcher, Nelson Mandela, Dessie Tutu, Big Ian Paisley, George Bush Snr, Babs Windsor, Hugh Heffner, Des O'Connor, Fidel Castro and the Pope are all down.

I think out of them Thatcher or Mandela is likely to go 1st.

Anybody else have any other good suggestions?

Paisley wasn't sounding too good the other night. Mandella maybe and Castro must be on his last legs too. Very competitive dead pool it has to be said.

Just seen Kirk Douglas is 95, surely he can't last much longer.

Someone has Freddie Starr on the list, someone else has Pete Doherty.

Imagine the cheer you would let out if you heard about their death in public. <laugh>

Can't see it. Be different if he went to chokey but he got off with community service. You would be paying a £1 each week till he dies of a heart attack in his 50s

I heard he died years ago and the guy in the chair now is a Jim Henson puppet.

    Probably not true though.

I remember i was in one of these a few years ago! The obvious people were being thrown around, like the Queen Mother, the Pope etc......I think I had Bob Hope!! Anyway, one of me mates decided on George Bush Jr, when he was president. We all took the piss out of him......'probably the most protected man in the world'. About 2 days later Bush almost choked to death on a pretzel! Wish he had, would have been most humorous and also made this story more interesting!
