AKCJ DON'T go easy me old bean, I for one am glad that the Dull fans are not here much anymore, they were so tiresome and arsey anyway, with no sense of humour and unable to take much of a WUMMING
Charlie, what a ridiculous post. Okay, let's not use the word "start" as the number of games is apparently open to debate. It is a fact that we are 10 games in. So, to rephrase Prouds question... Surely your poor first 10 games must have you worried. With the world class players you have that you have told us about your should have at least 30 points after 10 games surely
I thought ur best striker had been glued to the bench  Surely ur not on about Simpson or Fryup ?
Simpson is currently our best striker, with 5 in 11 so far this season, but obviously Fryatt was our best striker last season(and one of the highest scoring strikers in the league), so we'd rather he was available. The thickest poster on our board insists on calling him Fryup, I'd avoid it if I was you, it's nearly as tedious as calling us Dull City.
Didn't Fryatt score half your goals last season - you were one of the lowest scorers in the league if I remember correctly. Definitely miss him if my memory is correct.
Yep, 16 in total. We expected better things of the likes of Brady & Stewart but it didn't materialise and were pretty poor after Decemeber. Mclean scores now and then but isn't prolific. Defensively, we got sloppy and all, around the time we came to your place- like when we lost to Coventry at home. Shows these freak results like Peterborough, this season, can happen in the championship.
Barmby played a 4-5-1, which Matty didn't like at all, yet he still scored 16. To be fair, if it wasn't for Koren, he wouldn't have got anywhere near that, the pair of them played really well together. Koren has looked less of a player without him, I think many read too much into him taking too many touches and miss what he does for team as a whole.
Brady was poor, all step-overs and no end product. Stewart has more ability, but he's not been the same since he was out for most of the season with a bad injury, he looks scared to death of injuring himself again.
It took me ages to remember that Stewart had gone on loan to Burnley and even longer to realise he was on the pitch when we played them.
Stewart gave Peltier a tough time last season but Pelts still managed him Ritchie De Laet had him all game
