Manny: I must agree with you on this occasion, Massa is getting back into form, great to see the young man pull himself out of a deep hole.
What an out pour of emotion it will be when he wins again. I like to see the underdog driver do well, a bit hypocritical from me >>Schumacher, but yeah I want to see him do well.
Who will have the best upgrade in 3 weeks? from what i hear Vettel only had 30bhp instead of 80 from his KERS for the start of China, which is why he got swamped at the start, it probably cost him 10-15 seconds, so if that's fixed, as they say it will be, they'll definitely be up there (not that that is news to anyone). McLaren, they say they'll have a flexi-wing, but I'm not holding my breath tbh, and if they do, will they be able to get it working in perfect balance, they only have hours of testing to do, rather than weeks, but I'd like to see a stand-up fight, and lets not forget that the McLarens weren't that far behind when Webber and Vettel ahd their 'set-to' last year, and this car is far better IMO. Ferrari are a bit of an enigma, but they usually pull their socks up, Massa seems to be back, although too hot and cold for me, it would be a 'fairy-tale' win on a track where he has a good record, it'll probably be the only time I'll enjoy a Ferrari win. Questions over the Merc, was it's pace more a case of a 'short fueling', as Rosberg semed to get the 'fuel critical' call quite early, or have the genuinely made step up? Renault, will both of their drivers turn up? or will we have the marx brothers again? I bet Renault are praying for Kubica's recovery [he's out of hospital now BTW ]. I will ponder these ponderables for 2 weeks and probably go for Vettel
Hahahahahahaha… Sorry Lewis, but really… Look, if you become a fully respected member of the forum, I'm sure you'll be a member long enough to get your vote counted. Just chill out and be sensible; just as you told me you would try to be.
Voted for Vettel. He is on the run and KERS should be working better after three weeks time to fix the issues.
I am going for Massa, he is getting confident again, Ferrari have big updates for Turkey, and Massa is epic around the track. Plus I did not do the first three races so if I go with Vettel I will not catch up. I was also tempted to go with Button but I think my motives were hope rather than who I really think is going to win.
Hamilton for me. I think he, Vettel,Webber and Button will fight it out just like last year for the win. Just feeling like Hamilton just might have the edge.
Probably Massa's best track on the calendar but is the red car up to baiting the bulls? And on that note, I think McLaren supporters would be well-advised to temper their enthusiasm for a few races yet: what we saw in China was the product of Vettel not getting away well, and an unusually questionable Red Bull strategy. Vettel's weaknesses have nothing to do with his outright speed, as is easy to see when he's sailing away on the crest of a wave; they have to do with his race-craft in the face of a challenge. For this reason, he is most definitely not the 'complete' driver - yet. For this reason, Webbo may pip him this time around.
Can't see anyone getting past Vettel in qulaifying. He's shown before that he can pull out a stunning lap with only 1 run in Q3. McLaren need Red Bull to have some more KERS failures methinks if they're going to get close in the race.
Well.... so much nonsense said there that i have to make a comment. Vettels "race-craft in the face of a challenge" is absolutely ok. Look at the last races of 2010 since Spa and then tell me again that he is not able to deliver under pressure.....
indeed, to mention 'racecraft' and 'webber' in the same sentance is almost a joke, I think he has a crash to race ratio of about 1:5
