The pass to Adel for his goal was sublime too, Adel must have thought that at last he plays with someone on the same wave length as him!! - we have the class to become an all-round loved football team, I just hope that ´clogger´ Hughes sees this too! - Granero may take a bit of time adjusting to the physicalities of the PL but believe me he is the real deal!.

I would like to see Hughes start this (but sure he wont)

    --------Mbia----Faurlin----------

    Hoilett-----Granero-------Taarabt

    ------------Zamora--------------

Faurlin could be weak defensively - maybe swap him for Derry? or Park?

But we have Mbia for the defense , Faurlin/Park can also help, but I wouldn't pick Derry, because we need someone who can help in the attack so for me it would be Faurlin or Park. But on the other hand if Park plays he'll sit in front of Granero:

    --------Mbia----Granero----------

    Hoilett--------Park--------Taarabt

    ------------Zamora--------------

    I'd prefer my first formation

    That's it<ok>
Home and away keep playing it, we're losing anyway, trying to worry about the opposition.

Faurlin is not weak defensively, and there are stats to prove it!

I think this is spot on but with perhaps Diakite instead of Faurlin .

I don't really think we need two midfield enforcers in the starting 11. We also need someone who will link defense and midfield. And if Granero will play AMF we can't really expect him to do that job also.

Diakite ,if he can learn to control himself is a similar style of player to Ya Ya Toure . Much better than just an enforcer . Not seen enough of Mbia yet but looks promising . I think the athletisism of the two would benefit us greatly .

M'bia is needed as a centre back for now so would have to be Diakite in his place.

That's what I meant in my first post, don't think he will be next season.

OK assuming most injuries are cleared prior to Everton is it:

    Cesar
    Dyer, Nelsen, Mbia, Bossinger
    Diakite, Faurlin
    Hoilett, Granero, Taraabt
    Zamora

If so, then the corner could begin to turn!!!!

Sure he will...he signed up for the long term "project" North ;)

The only way he will leave for next season is if we go down imo...or if Madrid come back in for him ;)
