Massive boost for us. By far their best player. Just need Pienaar and Baines to run into each other a week on Friday, Jelavic to trip over their prostrate, injury stricken bodies, Osman to give himself a hernia laughing and that new guy (Kevin Merelles??) to get abducted by aliens with Jagielka joining the space race in a bid to rescue him....
We might get a draw if that happens. However Im not believing hes out yet, remember Carroll was supposed to be out 6-8 weeks and then he plays against us and started the following game.
Any destabilising of this confident Everton outfit is very much welcomed. Three points please. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
I'm with you there Flyer - It's a poisonous rag. I clicked on it as a link on twitter and didn't realise it was Daily Mail. It's injury rather than suspension. Another site is saying he's a major doubt for the Liverpool game which is a week later than ours.
You might have a point. Moyes has done this before Merseyside derbies (I think even with AJ once) and it could be a ploy to get him off international duty.
Did you see that comment at the bottom of the Daily Mail article 'we don't need him for QPR' Cocky or what!
Could this represent the famous QPR luck changing? I agree with comments above that sometimes these are mind games. If true, however, and if we get some key injuries back and fully fit after the two week break (Traore, Nelsen and Bosingwa), the passion of the home crowd and the desperation of the players to get their first win.. who knows?! COYRsss!!
Thanks God as he will have a field day against our defence. Just need Jelavic, Baines, Distan, Jageilka and a few others to come down with a mystery virus or something and we might scrape a 1-0. If not a draw would be a good result.
i think the daily mail website is a bit like watching x factor - you hate yourself for it but at times it can be quite difficult to pull yourself away (usually because you've just clocked a link to some Z list nobody in a bikini in the bottom right corner)
Last season, I thought Fellaini was one of the best players I saw at Loftus Road. Perhaps Lady Luck has started to smile on us, in a Mona Lisa sort of way.
Hmmm, missing two International matches I see. I wonder if this knee injury is the same as that Olympic runner who made a miraculous recovery to run the race he wanted to. Really do hope it is as reported.
Mate, never mind the butterflies, there are pterodactyls in mine!! COYRss. Essential for home support to be in full voice, whatever our opinions of MH, line up etc.
