So to get away from some of the same threads about Suarez, diving, and how **** we are..... Who in your opinion is the most clutch player we have had for us? There can be multiple ones and you can even use years if someone has lost that type of ability ( Gerrard for example). I always thought the Luis Garcia always seemed to pop up with important goals when he was here and always seemed to either be in the right place at the right time or come up with the spectacular. BTW: Is that just an American saying?
So legendary his goal against Fulham is what won us the CL. Gerrard and Torres used to be for us, Gary Mac was pretty good with that as well, Owen ( That FA cup final where he finished off Arsenal in about 2 minutes was it? top stuff....... the ****!)
ya def, but he seemed to lose that needed goal in the last year and a half or so. Occasionally last year ( United in the FA springs to mind).
are you here again has your buddy rejoined the site ? on topic : Ian Rush, God , McManaman, Brucie before the bungs , Billy Liddell and Istvan Kozma <oneofthemisalie>
no one ... shogun's cool , the only other blueshite fan on the site got banned though and poor oul shogun is all lonely in the wilderness of a board that is Everton
Can Shogun score goals? Plenty of Blues have switched allegiances.... Owen, Macca, Carra, Fowler.......
Big Andy came up with some important goals last year (well against Everton anyway) Shame he couldn't do it any other time. Agree with others already suggested, Kuyt always johnny on the spot and Luis Garcia during the CL run bailed us out on a few occasions.
Litmanen got us some pretty useful goals in the cl in his short stint with us. He was in his element in that tournament. Massive shame he spent so long injured.
typical yanks a clutch is used to change gears but they wouldn't know that with their automatic bullshit
there is one very big name missing here... he scored in two european cup finals and if thats not delivering o nthe big stage i dun't know what is... especially as nobody would put him in thier best teams etc.
