Nick Faldo overhauling Greg Norman's "unassailable" lead in the US Open.

Good response <laugh>Nick Faldo clawing back an 8 shot lead in the 1996 US Masters was good. I just wish I could remember who he beat.......

He didn't break down, he had no grip in the rain that started on the penultimate lap.

Great day...I was like the Ferrari mechanics but in reverse<ok>

I agree the ducking, bobbing and weaving by Bradman, Woolfall, O Reiley, Fingleton and co. rather than trying to hit the ball was embarrassing and some of the complaints were unsportsmanlike but I think you're being really unfair to refer to it as appalling tactics.

What about Jessica Ennis romping home in the 800 metres to take gold in the olympics this year, and then proceeding to pull all her clothes off and have a squirty **** all over the finish line?

The fact that coward Douglas Jardine called the all time greatest batsman Sir Donald Bradman yellow is beyond the pale sir. Bodyline was seen as a blight on the game and could only have been developed by pom. We in Australia believe in fair play, we would never stoop to such a low depth in an effort to win a sporting contest. We instead prefer to bowl them around their leg.

<laugh> My mate who only got into cricket about 5 years ago went to Australia for the 2010 / 2011 Ashes. After the Melbourne test he sent me a text saying he was havving some banter with the Aussies in a bar and asked if Strauss was the best England captain since Brearley. I replied that not only was he better he was the best we'd had since Douglas Jardine.
30 minutes later I got a phone call from him "some big Aussie bloke just punched me in the mouth and it's all your fault". He's a bit ******ed bless him
