Will do. Not seen Rushmore. Not been that keen on Wes Anderson films. Love Bill Murray, though. Saw The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou and that was ok; Murray made it though! Barely noticed Murray in TRT (was he in it?).
I think Rusholme mention a new comedy on BBC 3 called Cukoo, thought the first episode was ok but after watching episode 2 I thought I'd mention it again, very funny well worth watching.
Watched Star Trek First contact and thought it was pretty good. Definitely worth a watch. Best of the Nex Gen films I've seen, but, then again, I've not seen that many. Not downloaded Rushmore yet, Luv. What you make of Warrior, and how did your film night go?
Went to see Looper, decent film. On the way out we saw Sinister starting on another screen so snuck in, was alright but I wouldn't pay for it.
It was a decent film for the most part, the music was well done. The problem I had with it is when you see 'too much'. I find it is more frightening the less you see. I felt the same with Incideous, it was scary as **** until it got weird and you see too much.
Ya loses a bit of its allure but still good nonetheless. How do you have it and we don't? Also- ESPN 30 for 30 called 9.79 about Ben Johnson and the doping in the 100m. Top top stuff so far.
Yep first contact is great my favourite Star Trek Film, the new one is my 2nd favourite. Any of you guys like Stargate? Started watching it again from the Start really Is a top show
I'm not.. Just like a chug on one if I go to the cinema to watch something weird.. Backfired this time as my fried brain couldn't compute the plot of the film.
Regarding Star Trek films, load of crap imo other than the latest one. Looking forward to the new one.
Was funny, me an mate arrived blitzed and late. They were 15 mins into ads and previews when we got in there.. Not many people in there couldn't see where we were meant to sit, so sat ourselves down where we fancied.. Film starts and there is a narrative explaining the premise of a looper at this point 5 polish ****ers walk in an typically we were sat in their allocated seats. I tried ignoring them to no avail and we had to get up and move.. Being stoned and having to endure that was exceedingly traumatic..
Same happened to us except we weren't just sitting in the wrong seats, we weren't even supposed to be in there. The film was just starting so we just told them to sit in 'our seats' a couple rows back, they were fairly young so didn't really wanna mess with me. Naturally.
