Thinking back the 1988 FA Cup Final and 1987 League Cup final were funny as well. There's no beel quite like a scouse one.

Not in Living Memory, but West Auckland winning the Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy in 1909 [and again in 1911, beating Juventus 6-1 in the final!]

Pedigree? What does that matter? It's the quality of the 11 men on the pitch that matter.

British and Irish Lions beating South Africa in 1997 was pretty decent actually. Oh and the men's 4X100 relay team beating the USA in the Olympic final in Athens was pretty spectacular as well.

One of the great sporting moments has to be Diego Maradona's hand of God effort.

A cricketing tragedy of the greatest magnitude. To visit those appalling tactics upon the noble game, was an outrage.
