The last I heard, there were 40 people who'd made claims, 39 who were girls and one who was a boy(at the time).
I think it will transpire that there were a number of prior complaints, possibly even accusations, but no appetite to pursue to trial either through lack of corroborating evidence or appetite on behalf of the authorities ... suspect this is going to blow the lid off a proverbial can of worms and there may be more than one or two 'celebrities' now suffering from sleepless nights ..
It reminded me of the classic joke / witticism: Jeanette Krankie wouldve been the safest person on the Titanic cos they recued women and children first.
Not only did jimmy try to fook anybody that moved.. at stoke mandeville he tried to fook anybody who didn't move..incredible..

The story I started reading (was one of those BBC ones where they put the brief one up and then pad the story out later but I couldn't be bothered waiting) said they had 120 lines they were pursuing and 8 allegations recorded, but even if there's 40 of them it still seems odd to be revealing the number of lines of enquiry, it's like they've done it just to make it a more shocking news story, normally they'd just have said it was a significant number rather than being so precise.
