I assume we'll be interested when his contract expires but we should have no problem heading off these in the chase for his signature: http://www.football-italia.net/25963/serie-sides-eye-mannone He's as good as ours.
How many other 'up and coming' keepers have Utd got? They seemed to be overrun with them before and if that's still the case they might let him go as you intimate.
We certainly gave him the experience which has put him on the pedestal, and he is looking a good keeper now. Good luck to him, I am sure he will never forget his time with us.
Always used to see Vito in Asda during the night, sometimes in the early hours of a matchday! Must be an insomniac
I think Vito was out of our reach as soon as he started getting a run in the Arsenal first team and I don't think we'll get Amos either, he's just signed a new three year deal with the Mancs.
Whilst I agree that it's extremely unlikely we'll get him, I'm not sure that new deal means much - unless he's happy to play the Steve Harper role behind De Gea.
Vito hasn't impressed me in any of his games for Arsenal. He is very shaky at crosses and seems to have a mental block when releasing the ball to his closest defender and his long balls upfield are to no one . .Not sure Arsene will be all that chuffed either.Guzan is another who hasn't raised his game to EPL standard.I personally think we could do better.
Knowing how Serie A works, the Italians will offer Mannone a huge bribe to ensure that he signs for them
I imagine every single player dreams of playing for the club side with the most international titles in the world.
