    http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/276226/Guardiola-tipped-for-Arsenal/

Only quote is this rags article is from Mexican defender Rafael Marquez who said "[Guardiola] will soon return to the game. I think he'll go to England. He'd be perfect for Arsenal."

Nothing even remotely concrete just one persons opinion.

But it did get me thinking of my opinion on this.

I think I'd be quite open to Guardiola coming in as manager and Arsene remaining at Arsenal in some capacity. Director of Football?

I guess it all depends on how this season goes.

What does everyone else think? Would you like to see a change? Would Guardiola be the person you'd like to replace Wenger if he was to leave?

Agree with Krome Wenger is going anywhere till min 2014 (I am happy with this). I would however be happy with guardiola as an eventual replacement but i think he wants something starting 2013. If we can holdout till 2014 and Wenger wants to leave I think it would be perfect BUT I would keep wenger as Director of Football or head of player recruitment as he still has an eye for talent and honestly i think Guardiola (or the board or both) bought some right Kack when in charge of Barca I don't trust his player buying ability yet I implicitly trust Wengers.

If not my shortlist for Wenger replacements would be

    Klopp
    Mourinho
    Moyes

    cant think of many others.

Wenger isn't leaving anytime soon, I think he will stay beyond 2014. Also when Wenger eventually does leave, I think we should promote a new manager from within the club, someone who's familiar with the clubs style, strategy and so on, that's what Barcelona have been doing recently, and it works for them, that's how you keep real stability.

The only outsider coach I'd consider would be Guardiola because he already has the Arsenal philosophy, so he'd be familiar with it all from the get go.

Didn't he kinda at Barca seeing as the board kept promising players and pretty much buying who they wanted especially around election time. I do think we would have an input but i think the board had most sway. Still would like to know who was responsible for the 25mn Russian and the whole Ibrahimavic fiasco.
