Sadly probably true. Lets hope its a 90th minute consolation effort to our 4, putting the 1 in NE1 4ST for us to have a pop back. Lol PS-Albert. you used my quote but left out the Lol at the end which takes the humorous angle off the comment.
Didn't Shola once ring the police thinking he'd been broken into, then he realised he just left the house messy??? Or did I dream that?
It happened... He forgets stuff... Stuff like forgetting he is messi for 36 games.... Remembering he is for 2 #priceless
He's only 31 on Friday so I reckon 5 more years... Then his younger brother will take over for the next decade... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shola_Ameobi
I will get slaughtered for this as usual but I'm used to it by now so here is a totally honest view. If we win it will be a scrappy affair by one goal, they could win by a few clear goals, they have some quality in their side with a handful of really good players, let's face facts we have a decent goal scorer and a decent keeper but apart from that nothing of real quality (you can all point to Johnson as much as you like but the fact is, he's over-hyped and average at best). I really fear they may win by 3 or 4 goals I would love to be wrong but that is honestly how I feel. Furthermore, even if we did say manage a 2-0 win I still could not admit to been delighted rather just moderately pleased as the 1-5 will always be there and I still fume about it to this day particularly with the FGB been in charge for it. Bruce even thought the 3-0 win vs chelsea would make up for it (it did not) , it will always be there unless we can put five past them and lets face it thats just not gonna happen. In short, I'm absolutely dreading it and the piss taking that will go on around peterlee, horden , easington et cetera by the plakka mags (who pretend they are geordies).
Do they actually pretend they're Geordies, or just support Newcastle? I've supported Newcastle regularly since 1972, and never once pretended to be a Geordie. (Some people call me a Geordie on holiday, but I can't be arsed to explain to them!)
Aye fair enough Sombrero since 1972 is fine, well imo. It's the new ones who came along after Sky Sports promoted Newcastle to the hilt. It seemed almost Goebells propaganda like and I swear to this day I never heard the word toon until Sky came along.
You aint the first to say that fella. Sky were attracted by our swashbuckling play and the cash we splashed. They did promote us yes, but we helped sell the channel tbh so it was always a two way thing. Ive been a mag since the early 80's (formerly a mackem under duress from my dad) so am proud to say 'I was there when we were truly ****'...
Not my place to jump in but I have to agree with most other posters. It's a derby and with any derby it's far less predictable. Of course form plays a part, but not as much as it would in any other game. Players, managers, fitness coaches, GK coaches will be under more pressure in a weeks team than in previous weeks. It's games like this that make and shape your careers so hopefully everyone is fit. I bet on both matches last year and had Sunderland to win (At SOL) and Newcastle to win (at SJP). Predictably I called both games wrong. I always go for whoever is at home to win so I am thinking of doing a 2-2 scorecast with Fletcher to score first. If Newcastle score first I think they'll win without conceding tbh.
nmg - I get the feeling you wouldnt be happy if Fletcher scored a 10 minute hat trick; all the mags got food poisoning from dodgy burgers thus ****ting their collective keks all match; Pardew was found to have a 1 inch penis,; Ashley had a I love Hendon tattoo and you were guest of honour at the club and got a continuous blow job all match from the whole of Girls Aloud. Far from giving a balanced and intelligent viewpoint, you continuously trot out a whole pile of the same old ****e week after week and you really ought to go find another sport to follow cos from your own words, even if we win 2-0 you wouldnt be happy. You really have become the resident bore.
Honest maybe for him and you but 100% non reflective of the majority of Sunderland fans thoughts and opinions.
