Gaston out for six weeks

The point is that Adkins already has commented. I have Player, but why shouldn't others read it on OS. We really want updates, but we'll never get that as loose talk costs lives apparently.

 

The longer Adkins doesn't confirm the rumour , the shorter prep teams will have until we play them.

Plus it could be bollox any way.

 

Most PL teams are good enough to play us whatever our personnel, so doubt secrecy matters.

 

Having Gaston in the team does change us, so I think he's playing his cards close to his chest.......& rightly so........even though I would love some inside info on how bad the poor souls leg is! Arrghh

Saw that it brought tears to my eyes and I wasn't peeling onions. What amazed me was that he carried on after it happened! Tough guys these rugby types!

 

Some site called the physioroom is saying that Gaston will be back on the 17th November. They don't give a time though? Hopefully 3 pm, so he can start in the QPR match

 

Aside from Spurs they are winnable games? I'm sure the team would be delighted to learn that their 'supporters' were so quick to write them off in that fixture then. I'd be surprised if they even turned up ffs.

 

All the articles I have read never have a quote saying 'he is out for 6 weeks'. All I've seen so far are just quotes from Adkins saying he had a bad dead leg, etc. I really wouldn't be surprised if it's less as Saints never release any details regarding injuries. Anyway, I hope it is less. Top Player!

 

On current form I would say West Brom will be at least as difficult as Spurs.

Pretty sure 3-4 weeks was being bandied about for a bit about Morgan, and he only missed one game. Wouldn't be massively surprised if the injury is being over hyped by Saints to try to stop Uruguay flying him out in the international break on a chance he will become fit.

 

That wouldn't surprise me either. Not a bit.

 

Sky said 6 weeks for Gaston this afternoon.

 

Yeah they had an article up on the website earlier saying that, but let's face it, Sky don't know what they're talking about.

 

Everyone seems to be getting their info from the Echo article though, and we all know how good their relationship with the club is. My prediction is he misses West Ham and returns against Spurs!

 

Well Sky do get some things right, their reporter just said "Welcome to a wet, windy and miserable Fratton Park" somethings don't change!

 

But they can't confirm whether the old granny on her mobility scooter is there?

 

We could beat Tottenham, they don't look hugely consistent. They've had a decent last few games and we'll surprise them I reckon.
