Nothing to do with the Cardiff City board thank goodness as we seem to have and had very intelilgent Mods with common sence . Have just noticed on the jacks board that the ban police are at it again and closed two threads as they do not agree with what their own fans are saying about the way they are running their board ..that makes over 6 in the past fortnight . Dilly and Chickola seem to be becoming a type of dictatorship over there and a few of the ol time swansea members have either left or don`t bother because of this . Once again can i say thank heavans we on the Cardiff board have a SOH and within reason can type with the freedom of speech without looking over our shoulders. Some swansea members i do not see eye to eye with but i still belive they have the right to say what they want in reason ,no need to ban and close threads!!! swansea members are welcome for your input on the way your board is being ruled as it will not be banned or erased on here
JH if what you say is correct it all seems a bit dictatorial. I haven't trawled their board to see it myself. We all seem quite level headed over here with only the occasional clashes of personalities which are quickly overcome (e.g. red versus blue). Mind you it was a bit different on the old BBC 606 where we had a contributor called SaaldtheDragon who would argue black was white if it helped him make his case. While always controversial he got some things right but, if my memory is correct, he threw his towel in some time around the Ridsdale Season Ticket Fiasco.
On the topic of Red v Blue, I was in Cardiff this week and looked at the new shirt and dare I say it I couldn't bring myself to purchase a red top. I think it looks hideous. So my hard earned £42 went on a blue shirt.
Salad threw the towel in because he was a complete soom and gloom merchant and was proved wrong and didn't like it.- He used to start arguments with a thin thread of truth which he twisted and stretched out off all its original meaning, to suit what he wanted t o prove. If its any consolation to those who suffered him he also di the same on the tugby boards and in endless letters to the editor of the SWE. anyone know if pontprennau is ever on, if not we're lucky we have more sensible people who are prepared to back down and apologise if needed, and therefore dont need 3 mods............. as for banning, well i think we know the best system is temp bans then permanent if they continue, thats what i did......
Yes agree swamp about the bans as i had a few warnings of you myself then towed the line ;O) but what i can not understand and yes its not on our board thanfully is how two so called mods are dictating what and who they ban ,big argument over there about dilly banning casual fan because casual upset dilly before he was a mod!!!! ,now we see the same two(dilly and chicola ) closing down two new threads as they dont agree with them..........................i feel sorry for the posters and a lot have left or just dont bother . Hughes, get your facts right before you question us. Casual was banned by the supermod for posting up videos of ladyboys on the toon board. We warned him 4 times previous to that for insulting posters, and he didn't listen, therefore the supermod made his decision. Dai's thread was closed at HIS request, not ours. The other thread was closed because it was going to cause problems. Don't know why I'm answering to you, probably because your trying to **** stir, but try getting your facts right.
yes, its a nonsensical thing to say 'the supermods decision'. this is how it works. 1) mod PMs supermod and reccomends action, such as temp ban, or permanent ban 2) supermod carries out that reccomendation 3) if no-one kicks up a fuss then its all ok 4) if people kick up a fuss then you know it was the wrong decision and the supermod may change the decision or ask for specific reasons as to why you requested the ban. so all in all, the supermod just takes a mods word for it as they are meant to be mature and not abuse their position to settle old scores (which is what happened with dilli and casual, whatever is said here). its time consuming being supermod and they will not spend hours trawling through the 'evidence' on threads, so 99% if someone is banned then its purely on a mods say so..... only once have i seen a decision directly made by a supermod without the complete backing of the mods and that was the banning of PGFWhite on here.....

Same for me. At my advanced age when it came down to it I simply could not bring myself to buy a red 'home' City shirt. Got the blue away one: well-pleased with it too, it will get its first proper outing at Forest. Can't wait.

Making more **** up John. Casual was insulting anyone who disagreed with him. I warned him, Dilli warned him, Mabon warned him. At the fourth time of asking, action was needed. Dillgaf messaged the supermod and explained what he was doing. The Toon mod also complained (On the moderator board), about the stuff he was posting on their board. The supermod decided to go from a temp ban to a site ban. So, please tell me how you know that no contact was made between the toon mod and supermod? You don't. You don't have access to the moderator board. You mutter on about BAN this, BAN that, we have TWO members banned. One is you, the other is a QPR WUM that reappears time after time with pathetic insults. At no point did I, nor Dilligaf give Dai stick, and HE REQUESTED for HIS thread to be closed. HIS decision.
