I'd cash in before his value goes down, you may do something different, that's what you would be judged on as a manager.

I'm not so sure this would be overly popular (and never before thought I'd even consider this) but I'd sell Tiote for 20-25 million, Williamson for 2-3 million and gosling for 2-3 million giving me approx 40 million to spend.

I'd bring back Enrique for 6 million, Shawcross for 10 million (not a good footballing defender, but a no nonsense defender that will give 5-7 goals a year and do the ugly stuff well, also never known him to be injured unlike Saylor), I'd then sign M'Villa for 16 million leaving 8 million for a up and coming young striker.

I can assure you I'm no mackem fella. Just look at what selling Carroll did for us, Tiote is not too different to AC in that he's had injury problems both last season and his season along with loss of form. M'Villa would be a decent replacement and we'd also then have sufficient funds to add depth to our back four.

When Tiote is on form and injury free the bloke is a world beater, I just don't remember seeing one of his "I'm going to win this game on my own" performances for a while now (last season included). A fit and on form Tiote could be the difference between top 10 and top 5 for us, just hope he can get back to the form of his first season.

In all seriousness we need Cheik back to his best. I can see the reasoning for his sale but I think if we get him back to his best, our performance takes a massive leap. Obviously if you were to bring in an M'Villa fine but I think he is out of our league personally. My concern would be when I look down the road. It is pretty difficult to get two top class central midfielders when you aren't a Man U. You end up with Gardner/Vaughan types!

Anyway I still wnat you bumfucked for your heresy <laugh>

Sell/Ditch - Ranger, Xisco, Williamson, Gosling, Simpson (if he won't accept a contract)

Buy - Tom Ince, Mathieu Debuchy, Tomi Ameobi, Charlie Austin, Stephane Mbia, Douglas

I may have to accept a bid for one of our big players to fund my spending spree, but I promise I'll do my best to hold onto them if they want to stay. If I had to sacrifice one of them, I'd say Cisse if a decent bid came in.

I'd also loan out quite a few of our fringe youngsters and then when injuries struck I'd be forced to field a side that will struggle and I'd be sacked under fan-pressure.

    You fickle bastards.

I agree, If we had guarantees that he'd return to his best there's no way I'd consider selling him, but when he's not at his best he comes with baggage such as ACON, Suspensions, Injuries and his fasting at the start of the season meaning he takes more time to get up to speed (hopefully that's just the case this season and he'll soon be back to his best).

I just hope Tiote doesn't hunt me down for holding slight doubts about him. Here's to hoping he makes me look a complete moron with an all action display in the derby!

Sell Jonas. He always garners a lot of sale value with not-magnificent stats on FM. Sell Simmo, get a RB who can at least attack.
