Yoga my friend .... Yoga come South my friend over the channel where the air is fresh and clean:
Talk Sport is ruined by the pissy-pants dimwit Alan Brazil and his dumb as a stump co-presenter Ronnie Irani. Add to that the dynamic duo of Keyes and Gray and the up-his-own-arse Adrian Durham and the station becomes un-listenable most of the time. Despite being a dogging woman beater I find Stan Collymore to be a decent pundit and Danny Kelly is left-field enough to make me chuckle but rarely gets anything more than an evening stint. Being in London I often flick channels and hit LBC but the right wing rants of Nick Ferrari and James Whale and the knuckle dragging thugs that call in soon have me reaching for the re-tune button. Absolute do a decent range with 60's 70's 80's 90's, Classic Rock etc but if you listen for any length of time its the same tunes going round and round. Radio Five is the station of choice as long as I can get reception in the car. XFM used to be the nuts when it was a pirate station but since it got bought out by Capital Radio it is wall to wall Coldplay. Twist the tuner for long enough and you get some mental reggae stations in London but if you thought the adverts on Talk Sport were annoying you 'aint heard anything yet! Endless ads cutting over the tunes promoting live shows and it gets on the nerves so much I usually killing the sound and move away.
I dont listen to radio as I dont see the point, Id rather listen to what I like but if I had to it would be Kerrang. Any other station makes me want to go on a murderous rage, especially when an no talent autotuned song comes on which is 95% of the time.
No mention to radio 2? Think they do a pretty good all round show as regards music and debate. Sports bar on talksport with goldstein and moonface Cundy always good for a laugh....
Radio 4 on the drive to the orifice in the mornings, until it gets a bit 'repeaty'. Then its the music on the SD cards in the brum-brum (current faves: relative newies by Rival Sons, The Darkness and Springsteen). Mainly Radio 2 during the day until that dreary old foreskin Mayo comes on, then flip over to Eddie Mare on 4 again. Might finish off drive home this evening with a few episodes of Bleak Expectations. Pipe and slippers await.

Radio 6, xfm then absolute - normal, rock (or 80s for the little lady) in that order. Get them through the TV so will throw MTV Rocks in there. Mp3 when I'm on the go.
PMSL at that, perfect title for a football list, The Dreary Old Foreskin Awards. By no means an exhaustive list, but contenders would have to include 1. Arsene Wenger ( and when he smiles, what a scary old foreskin!) 2. Mark Lawrenson 3. MH
RTE Lyric FM "Where life sounds better"......Springsteen & Strauss on the same programme......Jazz, Worldly music, traditional you name it they play it.
I am with you there WBA...a daily encounter with the grumpiness and rudeness never gets boring. As for radio stations, used to be forced to listen to radio 4 in the morning, some of the comedy is okay. Now can't remember the last times I listened to the radio so can't say what I like!
Best news/sport radio stations are Radio 5 live & Talksport. Best music radio station (internet) is ETN.FM House & Trance channels. I listen to the latter most of my online hours especially when gaming! There is a radio desktop gadget I use that has all the best internet radio stations on it as well as the usual stations. "GDPLAYER". You can get it at http://gdplayer.blogspot.co.uk/
