There is a sprinkling of Bob Paisley in the way he manages,Watch how he calls players over to oneside and whispers in their ear and gives them nuggets of advice.Bob Paisley never gave group team-talks.Many said he wasn't able to.He used to go up to individual players and whisper in their ear,and say stuff like ''That centre half has a dodgey ankle'',''That forward is wearing a knee bandage get the other side of him''.Okay Kenny may not say things like that, but he does similar.
Its really clever on how he does it.One of the best examples was during the Arsenal game when John Flanagan and Carra clashed heads,Kenny took him to oneside and told him not to worry about it and carry on.During the game against Birmingham,He took Maxi to oneside and shook his hand as much to say ''Keep doing what you're doing''.He gives players that haven't been in the team for a while encouragement without doing much. The feel-good factor is definitely back.
