7 Points. I feel we will get a draw against Brentford because neither Saints nor Huddersfield have been tortured enough. Hudds will see a little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel before NA slams it shut. On the other hand, Nigel doesn't play the old Saints way, so perhaps we'll get 9.

we seem to be overlooking the teams moral at the moment....it's never been higher and the belief within the boys is great, they never now drop thier heads when they concede a goal, they just get up and get on with it.

I believe they will want to win every game, not because of the promotion but because they are actually enjoying winning these games.

As was said on another thread, the confidence and calmness that NA has instilled in Saints players and fans is wonderful. Hands up those fans who no longer worry at 1 nil down.

Me... Firm believer in the sayin football is a 90min game, anything can happen!

Saints of late have proven that!! All credit to them! Sterling job by Adkins and Crosby.

BUT WITHOUT CORTESE...We would not have Adkins let's not forget that! Credit to NC too!!

Although we have our destiny in our own hands; the key match isn't one of our games - it is what happens Saturday at Brighton. A home win for the Seagulls will mean we only need three points from our last three games. I can see us getting away draws at Brentford and Plymouth (the latter will be hard) and I think we will beat Walsall.

So I see that we will get five points from the last three games; hence the Brighton/Huddersfield game being critical... please let me be so so wrong and willingly accept a good slating when I am proven wrong!

We will have pressure on us against all three with so much at stake. Plymouth and Walsall will both be fighting to avoid the drop probabaly so will also have the weight of possibly dropping a league on their shoulders which could make them go either way. It is possible that a quick goal could seriously demoralise them though Plymouth are really in a false position if you think of the points deduction handed out to them, in ratio to points actually earned and could be the toughest.

Huddersfield have MASSIVE amounts of pressure on them too. Think about it. Behind the pre-season favourites who have won 10 out of their last 12, one game less to play in which they HAVE to get more points than us to make sure of second. A tough game against the champions that Saints fans were dreading a week ago, many predicting a battering.

They will be under fair amounts of pressure.

We will be under pressure as well, but thus far we have coped reasonably well. Think of the pressure knowing that anything but a win would have seen Huddersfield stay second on Saturday, and then going one nil down to the champions, only to pull it out of the bag and win.

    We can play with pressure.

Let's win our next 2 games please Saints.

9 points and we stroll home. Huddersfield to only get a draw at Brighton. Ha. Gutted.

It could be to our advantage if Plymouth and Walsall need the points to stay up. They can't just park the bus..as time goes by they will have to be adventurous and that will give us space.

Its funny I have been negative about us going up, but I now believe that we will be as good as promoted on Saturday after the Brentford game, and the Walsall game will almost be an anti-climax. I really thought there would be three teams hoping to get 2nd place upto the last game but Peterborough's demise has been absolutely astounding.

I believe that Brighton will want to win their very last game at Withdean. Remember the last game at The Dell against Arsenal. Brighton will be fired up.

Huddersfield are going to give Brighton a gaurd of honour before the game, so 3-0 to Huddersfield I can see it coming.

Well we DIDN'T give them a Guard of Honour and beat them. Don't think it makes any difference.

Yes but Saints had to fight for their win, Huddersfield may not have to.

All this talk about winning all games is probably a bit hopeful. We do need two wins to be sure. So win the two over this weekend and we will probably draw against Walsall. How would that do?

If we beat Plymouth and Brentford, then I 99.5% guarantee we will win against Walsall. I reckon we'll draw at Plymouth.
