Personally, I've not heard that chant from QPR fans since the '82 cup final. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but just because you write about it on your own blog doesn't make it a fair reflection of our club.

Well thats your problem I mentioned that they had Norweigan flags .. I made the assumption that they may be from Norway as to identify them. They were from a Scandinavian country that i would swear by. I have no other proof ... Lucky they weren't from England i would have been well offended

No they didn't get up quickly they watched the rest of the first half and the second. And yes I went over the first row of seats and walked 15 seats or more and said in a rage something like shut your racist mouths ... and i didn't get any chops back at all ... what's more i would do it again. They looked very healthy how do you think i would have done if things went off piste?. I was with my son as it happened ... so he would may of protected me who knows?

I have personally travelled with the official supporters club of Scandinavia (it's Norwegian) in the past and did not at any time experience this.

I think it's admirable that you stood up to them DT. I'm not sure I could have done the same were I with my son(s) as they get extremely scared already when I start chasing taxi drivers doing 80 in a 40 KPH. and if it were to go Pete Tong, a tad young to look after themselves and anyway the Mrs. would give me an even bigger hiding! As for taking offence Norway - dont, there are idiots in every country that is a given - what is also a given is that Norway is by far and with no iota of exagerration the most tolerant, evenly minded society on this planet - and one I might add that economically is the shining light to all of us. (Although having to buy cucumbers by the piece is taking a bit far!)
Actually Secret I think we've always had a higher % than most as other club's morons have always had a soft spot for us. My most regular period of attendance was 82 - 86 and got to say that wasn't always pleasant!

I did and what happened happened exactly as i have stated around 30 minutes in after Samba scored .. I will look at the archive vids and see if i can get a screen shot as HH scored 10 minutes before may be able to point it out. How you are tieing this with your travels , the norweign fan base and the bunch of twats I engaged and what happened is strange. I suggest you look on how you have manufactured your own offence here
Good one my youngster is good person to have on your side ... agree not the right example and i have been on a couple of beatings in my time which i think helps you control yourself well in such rare instances ... The last time i got caught out was in a village bar in France 2008. A lad got offended because a mate of mime was misunderstood re his drunken mother. I stepped in to calm it and got a roasting from a very emotive son. I learnt then that power and skill counts for nothing ... its was a misunderstanding and all cool when it blew over after a few days. Saw the lad the other week and we are mates now.

There are just as many racists in Norway as in any country, probably more as a % of population now in Norway than in the UK in my own totally unsubstantiated opinion - I think because immigratation into Norway is more recent than in the UK, and people everywhere take a long time (way too long) not to treat newcomers as some kind of invaders taking their jobs, benefits etc etc. The nationality of whoever was making the racist chants is really irrelevant - they should of been arrested and thrown out of the ground if they could have been correctly identified.
No I did not, and can only take your word for it. Regarding my own travels with the supporters club I agree that it isn't anything to do with this case, but as I said it's just so far of my own experinces that I struggle to see it happen with any that's connected with the supporters club. Though not at any time when I've travelled have there been used a Norwegian flag. Usually just travel on my own as I appreciate the freedom it provides as I love what London has to offer. But as a younger fan it was helpfull traveling with people with experince. If you come across them again give 'em a good wack from me as well will you?.
There may well be a few racists at QPR but we are not known as being a club with a predominantly far right fan base. Consider Chelskum fans and their history of open recruitment for the NF and British Movement outside their ground. I've known Chelsea supporters who travel up to Glasgow for organized violence with (Scottish) Rangers fans against Celtic and they have even travelled to Belfast for the punch-ups that follow the apprentice marches. All the while wearing and waving the Union Flag whilst seig heiling and Nazi saluting. To balance this I also know black Chelskum fans and when I've questioned their loyalty to a club with such a well known racist following they have always come back with replies like it never goes on around them or there are always a few idiots at any club. Seems they are prepared to ignore the racists in their midst as they hop up onto the glory wagon. Maybe it is a defensive position to take, wear a Chelsea shirt and the racists won't attack you. Heard a lot of disgusting racist chanting from West Ham supporters last week directed at Somalians so it isn't exclusive to Chelsea.
