I really don't see how you can draw any comparison between the two cases... I would not advocate the death penalty unless there was certainty of guilt ... but if that is then the case I have no feelings of compassion .. after all, what compassion did he (Bridger - if guilty) show? ... not only has he taken away all that potential - he has also placed and indelible stain and sadness on a whole family if not a whole community ... I hope there is a God, I hope there is a hell, I hope he burns in it and the quicker he is there to start his 'rehabilitation' the better (if guilty) ...
I bloody hope there's not, else I'm faced with a choice of doing something equally horrific, or playing bingo every night for infinity.
I don't advocate the death penalty for child killers, but I do advocate burying them alive in a coffin full of starving rats.
I'm not going to get into debate, you have your opinion and I have mine. I doubt there is any common ground for us to explore. I will clarify that I am neither religious nor the problem (I do believe in punishment, just of a different type to you). And as far as politically correct goes!
Tell it to this man: http://www.people.co.uk/celebs-tv/t...ed-of-killing-rachel-nickell-102039-23783236/ (I'll bet you all knew it was him - just like the Filth. The thing was - they had the power to **** him up. And the darling media had a fabulous story, didn't they?)
That must be your 'Bucket of **** List' Hhmm - I think Im with you The media tried and sentenced him and then they fought for his innocence - it was bad, it was typical media and public red top adoration. Twats like Brady should be topped - end of - along with the collective editors of the red tops - **** it, all ****e papers. We are feeding too many murderers who we know full well are murderers - get shot and give the money to our more needier causes.
Skim reading can be quite dangerous. I got "...pussy...girls...watch hours...body...great reality tv...2 birds 1 cup"
