I hope you are always lucky enough to be in a position to be moralistic about jobs. People could also work for any of those for idealistic reasons - to better their corporate ethics.

Maybe but you can only exclude the ones who know about. I had a boss who said he wouldnt hire any women or any non white men. I left as soon as possible after that so I was in that situation and rectified it.
Good on you. I once had a boss who wanted to make me more ruthless. Liked the guy as a person but ran a mile. Perhaps I'm just a bit cynical.
