    Afternoon all, today is so slow even the contractors have gone home.... I am almost alone but after my boss asked the team yesterday if they had owt for me to do I am overloaded. Shame I can't come in tomorrow but I wouldn't miss the wedding for anything. That William and Catherine, such a nice couple and my company has had a major role - just hope our contribution doesn't break or there'd be one hell of a hoo-hah!

    Afternoon all, a busy day as ever.

    I cannot believe what I see on French TV about this do tomorrow. They have now added a countdown clock with the hours, minutes and seconds before kick off. <doh>

    Bit like the Hornet Player on match day. ;)

    There is even more coverage here than in the UK. Papers, magazines and TV have gone in for over kill.

    We have the royal wedding on RÚV from kl7.00 until kl17.50. There will be nearly as many people in the Westminster Cathedral than live in Ísland.

    Frenchie does this event and how the French look at the British monarchs make them think they made a mistake?

    Afternoon all - mad day, getting in supplies for the week-end. Party at the W_Y Dacha for little Miss W_Y's 20th birthday - trouble is one of the ovens just popped the breaker and will not come one again, so Iv'e got to put my Barry Bucknell hat on and get the tool box out!
    Norway - have a good flight and text me if you have any problems, but I may be a bit worse for wear tomorrow evening. If not see you Saturday lunch time.

    W-Y turn off all the other lecky appliances on the same ring main, if the oven comes on you were pulling too many amps through,or theres a snag in the cicuit (usually a bad earth ) if the oven stays off and everything else works as advertised the ovens knackered!!

    Next stage Is it a fan assist oven , if yes check the fan can turn easily! If ok get the multimeter out and good luck!

    I've left the country to get away from it. Back tomorrow night for a day mind, should've blown over by then and be able to listen to us thrash the championship champions in waiting....

    i have to admit, this whole wedding thing is passing me by..and i'm not complaining :)...don't get to hear about it much from 17 year olds lol

    In Wales they are divided between fervent Royalists who would not miss it for the world and those who would spit at the telly - for me its just another day - might catch a bit on the news if they cover it at all :)
