Potter Palm Where the HELL do I start here? LOOK, As I told you on the (Liverpool board) YOU want my job as "Moderator for the Stoke board"? YOU can have it Potter Palm. I'm almost SIXTY, too old, too long in the tooth for this ****. If YOU remember I did not DEMAND that I was to be NOMINATED as a Mod along with Sgt Potter. Where the hell he is these days? Cos I don't have a clue myself. IF you look up the word "Moderator" Potter Palm, you will find it's a way of " TRYING to put things into perspective during a dispute/in our case a slanging match between various fans/clubs/player's etc" I can of course tell someone to F OFF or the like, but me being me I rarely do that. What does doing that achieve? Not much seeing that we're all basically talking to a computer screen. Cyber friends I believe is the word used. Personally, I would much prefer chatting/arguing with other fans AND Stoke fans over a pint in the local. But hey, this site is what it is. A forum end of. Now, as you know Potter Palm, I would be the first to DEFEND Stoke City, our player's and for the most part even Tony Pulis. We ALL do on this board. So, I thought and SAID on the LIVERPOOL board that.. " I thought Huth should have walked and that Pulis should have not said anything yesterday" Having seen thet the FA are taking no action against Huth fine. That means that either I OR Lee Mason we're wrong. He did'nt send Huth off because " He saw it" that's done with now. The vast majority of it is "uncalled for" IMHO. I HOPE that I have represented Stoke City in a fair and balanced way over the last few season's. I know for sure I HAVE tried to Potter Palm. I WISH to give up the role of Moderator, I said I would middle of last season. I kept it on because NOT ONE fan said. Anyway. - Suarez cheated, obviously. - You were very fortunate not to receive many more than 6 booking. - Teams like Stoke are ruining our gave just as much as Luis Suarez. - Gerrard didn't want to see his 17 year old team-mate's leg snapped in half, I imagine. - We made I believe a third as many challenges as Stoke (we did have 68% of the ball). Can't remember a single bad challenge? - If anything, Mason accommodated your reputation for physicality. - Who's talking about history? Just you. All these childish insults are just boring.
Potts,We`ve never met,but I feel like I know you.I remember how gutted I felt when your early demise was announced on here,and how happy I was when you did a`Lazarus`,and that the whole thing was some sick `b------s` idea of a joke. For 99% of the time I agree with your points of view,but for 100% of the time I know they come from the heart and you will go out of your way to be fair.I would never try to do your job because I couldn`t be `ar--d` putting up with some of with some of the sh-- that`s written on here ( which is why a lot of my responses are spasmodical). Joe I know by your posts that we're similar age, you a few years older but I just want to say thanks for the kind words. As for a man hug.. nah, I'll buy you the first time we all meet up, which we've tried to organise more than once before now Joe. It's the number or e-mails I get because one fan say's something way OTT to another fan etc.. NOT usually a Stoke fan either Joe? In fact, I can not remember the last time a senior mod came to me about ANY Stoke fan. We're all decent posters including Potter Palm. Just that I've had enough of arguing/sifting through mail from 606 etc about something non of us can solve anyway. If that makes any sense? Potts, Sorry your so pi**ed off with the moderators tag, I didn't realise, as for myself I don't think I could do it credit, even if I had the time and energy to attempt it. Why don't you just bin it, there are other teams in the prem that don't seem to have moderators and i'm sure everyone on here would prefer that you carried on posting and gave up the mod job if it's stopping you from enjoying it as much.

Potts No some of us seem to have fallen by the wayside, I had a period away myself. could be to do with playing style and team selections, not heard from Sgt for ages but he's a youngster so with luck he's trying to wear away his stump.
