Messi's Tash!

So it's settled then. Pardew will be signing Messi in the summer, not Ronaldo.

 

Unfortunatly Ameobi is going in the other direction.

 

Stop talking **** Tash. Messi is better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is an amazing player, but Messi is the only player on the planet who would be able to provide so much to a team. The man creates things out of nothing.

Aye he scored that goal, but Messi played better, Messi was involved in almost all of Barcas play, whilst Ronaldo largely played in the final 3rd of the pitch, finishing moves (with only 1 being successful)!

Also, you say Messi plays in a better team...I honestly don't think Ronaldo would work at Barca, he is too selfish on the ball and isn't suited to a team based on patient build up!

Ronaldo may have more raw ability (i.e. pace, height, strength, power) but Messi is the best footballer in the world...Stats, style and substance prove it!

 

He played better in your opinion, not in my mine. Ronaldo is the right player for Real Madrid, Messi is the right player at Barca. Both players compliment their teams style of play, and Messi is so successful because he's found the perfect team around him, aswell as being one of the best players.

 

Agree entirely to be fair, I think both players could excell in other teams, but as it is, neither would find a better team than the one they are currently in - their records show that!

 

In my opinion it's like trying to compare a brick and a breeze block. Both do similar things, but are still quite different.
It's hard to judge who is the best player in the world because you can argue different arguments for different players in different positions.
I think Messi edges it, but that's just me. It is, of course, entirely a matter of opinion and difficult to argue because of this.

I just don't like Ronaldo because of his face and attitude and just because he's an all round cock, which is why I prefer Messi.
