We need to win home games, same as last season, suarez is so frustrating. Were aware how stoke play, there just thugs and have no skill, but luis needs to be a little tougher, i hate the hands in the air reaction, not just yesterday, the "poor me" syndrome, just get on with playing football.
could have told you that on sept 1... but abusing suarez? come on he is what he is... another luis garcia except a bit better. you have to accept he's going to blaze 40-50% of all chances wide for thsoe moents of brilliance. its not his fault he's mentoring suso as to where to run to get in on the end of his passes or seeing sterling unable to even put it past a full back and then take the foul thats inevitably coming... neither is it his fualt 90% of passes to gerrard are lost cos the guys alseep at the wheel. lets face it were were always headed for a bad time once we had no CF.. no point in getting o nthe one guy who has something about him and works hard beacuse he will mess it up but he does make 90% of what he messes up himself.
I'm not abusing him, he just need's to play and stop the moaning, he was great against Norwich because nobody roughed him up, as soon as this happens he can't handle it. Grow a pair, the fa and refs are not gonna look after you there hopeless.
Suarez will learn and adapt, loads of foreign players dive around in their first couple of seasons but soon learn that it just doesn't work in the PL. Ronaldo in his first couple of seasons at Utd is a good example but he learned and was a better player for it. (Unfortunately) As far as the league position goes I will remain hopeful.
He is what he is... there's no growing a piar required. he just expresses himself. he kicked huth right back and kept running til the end.. it aint like he flopped over every time, rather he just keeps nutmegging guys and trying to play. he's virtually on his own out there at times IMO. Mouthing and diving are part of his game just like nutmegs and sly digs, brillinat skills and shots balzed wide.. if you want the brilliant moment you have to accept the clowning too.
Well said. People forget that he could easily go down when he gets clipped but he stays on his feet more often than not.
I agree with this. Torres never moaned when he first joined us and he was sensational, he drop in form saw a raise in moaning. I personally think the two are linked. I think if you are in a positive frame of mind and playing with a smile on your face then you are much more likely to see positive things happen. It is along similar lines to confidence in that it is all in your head, it is all about your mentality. Suarez needs to shut his mouth and concentrate on playing football
Agreed - taking Norwich as an e.g. Suarez had just scored a brilliant 1st goal and Liverpool were looking good. Then he's brought down by Barnett and doesn't react. I'm not sure he would have reacted the same had he had not just scored prior to the incident.
According to google translate: Deje que sus pies hacer hablar However, Suarez's version is: deje negrito que negrito sus negrito pies negrito hacer negrito hablar
If you are near top half by mid-way, then bring in an actual striker in january, I reckon you'll finish around 6th.
What?! I think you're confused. Not surprising seeing how many fans come on here to essentially just slag you off
Ok... Anyway, how people think you'll finish out of the top half is beyond me. In pretty much all your games so far, you've been on top with chances and possession. When you take the chances you'll hammer a team, and when you don't, you'll be left with a frustrating draw or 0-1 loss. Considering Rodgers has just got the job, the way his system is panning out early on and the way he's prepared to give those cracking youngsters a chance bodes well. Liverpool always seemed to me to be incredibly direct in formation and style, but the players have adapted well in a short space of time. As I say, a decent CF in January and it'll be certain Europa for me. Bolstering that defence and adding a tad more quality to CM is required for any league challenge next season though.
What do you make about the Ba rumours? Not being a dick, genuine question. Would he fit here - would he even leave?
Would you want us to pay money for a player that can't pass a medical and therefore can't be insured...? That is a massive risk! Newcastle got him on a free
Relieved when I saw this was on your board. Was worried it was someone talking about us. Think we'll both have good runs at some point and finish in the top 8.
