I say keep Hughes he has got players in our squad a few years ago we could only have dreamed off. if we are still still bottom at Christmas then I might change my mind
Wrong. If you haven't voted you can see all the usernames of those who have against their preference. All bona fide Rs fans and regular posters except for one Saints fan on the In side and one Fulham fan on the out side. How sad are they? Sometimes your paranoia gets the better of you Imaz. Although I'm sure it's technically possible to fix this, honestly why would anyone bother? Truth is, of those who have voted, twice as many would keep Hughes at least for the time being.
I expect you are right on this SB. I hope the majority have it right and Hughes sorts it out quick, though I also hope myself TF is well on the way to announcing Hughes is leaving and a new man is coming in.
My man sort your head out I can help you ... 12 parts Lysergic acid diethylamide to 7 parts Toilet Duck in 2 parts Absinthe The real killer is to dip a fab ice lolly into a bowl of marmite before rubbing it across your naked chest
Never been a big Hughes fan but with all the players coming in, the last thing we need now is a new manager. To me, a new manager will want to flush out 'x' numbers of new players and bring in his own style of player ............. more movement so to speak. Nah ............... let's support the team, management as a whole. If he proves to be worthless, get a new manager in around Xmas time. If things turn to ****e will need a few chrissy presents come December.
Voting can be of questionable value. People will vote for idiots because they love to doff their caps to the powerful.
Of course, ignoramus' voting is a very dangerous thing, and this is why we don't have referenda on things like the death penalty and immigration. Representative democracy may be flawed, but it has certain advantages. But in this instance that is clearly a very insulting and arrogant perspective Imaz, as well as being stunningly stupid. It's a poll on a football message board FFS, what 'powerful people' are the voters doffing their caps at? Didn't have you down as a totalitarian, but on reflection.....
Based on other polls on here i wouldn't be surprised if these results when reviewed gave the conclusion that if you added the two together it simply adds up to another two week ban for Swords and we should hang Mark Hughes
I'm encouraged by the outcome of the poll so far. A poll should always show the feeling out there, give or take a few percentage points. I voted IN because I want to see stability. I accept that the verdict is out on MH, including with me, but I cant face more upheaval just 7 games into the season. Lets hope he gets it right, we need to support the team, and not have any more requests for anti Hughes songs at Everton.
I am right on this one mate, it's not an opinion it's a fact based on counting names! As to who is right or wrong re MH, we'll see. I think there is a large silent, or at least quiet, majority who want more time to be given.
I think ban him for another two weeks By then he would of got used to wearing Irish ladies autumn wear Yep the polls says Hughes in Ban swords for another two weeks
Voted Hughes in. Reason? The only two managers capable of pulling a stranded club up the table are Redknapp and O'Neil, neither of which are options atm and both likely to impact badly on the rest of our development plan. Anyone else would be a huge gamble and therefore not much help. Better the devil you know at this stage. All digits crossed eh?!
You want the barrel full and the wife drunk as the saying goes. Of course as you rightly say the people cannot be entrusted to vote on Capital Punishment, Immigration, Gay Rights and so on. However who are you to say where the line should be drawn as to entrusting people with a vote on a given issue? Totalitarian me? Yes, in my opinion it is necessary right now. The criminals who are running the show need to be removed. Never forget that it wasn't the National Socialists and Fascists who brought Hitler and Mussolini to power but the "silent majority" that let it happen. Godwin's Law maybe but even the Greek PM is warning of a Weimar Republic style descent into Nazism and there are other precedents out there such as Portugal with the Alves Reis ("the man from Lisbon") affair that triggered the Coup that brought in 48 years of Estado Novo.
That must be one of the most condescending and inaccurate remarks I have ever read on this board. Thank you for your vote of confidence in our intelligence.
