Not sure that's how you spell his name, but in my opinion has shown the last few games he is getting back to where he was before the leg break. Attacking full backs are needed to be in top form for lennons system teams to work IMO. Glad to see this as I feared he may never get back to that level. Problems with these guys performing well is that they'll attract bids!!8 hope we can keep what we have for a year or 2, as they could do alright.
I think the main problem for Izzy has been who is playing in front of him. Matthews/Lustig invariably have Forrest as the wide man ahead of them and he does an awful lot of tracking back on the flank compared to Sammy/Commons. Attacking full-backs will be vunerable if they don't have the required cover. He was utterly pish in a few games recently though and the Spartak/Hearts games were glimpses of how good he was a couple of seasons ago.
Izzy seems to have worked hard at his defensive duties, or maybe Lennon and the coaches have, in any case he has improved greatly in his defensive work which has gave him the confidence to get forward. When he came first there was always a big gap in front of him to race into, that isn't there now but he tends to slip forward into good positions without been covered and is even more dangerous.
Its great to laugh and sneer at what some foresee as Celtic going into the lion's mouth. You may be disappointed Celtic may just get a result against Barca in both games. Heading to Russia we were filled more with hope than with expectations. It will be great to have a packed house in Glasgow once again.
Jiffy, the last I knew your house was a shop door-way, Have you come up in the world to the first floor of a close?
Once again the stupid jiffy posts off topic by trying to have us believe he lives in a house. How the hell can that help or broaden a discussion on Izzy or the Celtic Barca match. As Jiffy hasn't the ability to concentrate for thirty seconds to post anything relevant, he tries to spoil it for every reasonable person. You and that no excuse boy maybe as one but the rest of us can do well without your childish humour.
