"and out of those 3 goals 2 were penalties".

    So,they don't count then? :emoticon-0102-bigsm ...

Oh dear, the usual sour grapes from the usual suspects.

Ashley Williams is more than qualified to captain Wales, since the rules allow it.

Ramsey is yesterdays player, overrated, and quite often ineffectual. His best days are behind him,sad but true.

Not sour grapes at all just pointing out facts...why do people try to cause an argument! And Chico held his hands up and apologised for the mistake!

I've been quiet on this matter! So ill give my opinion as a welsh fan and not involving clubs into this debate! This is why I started playing rugby over football more respect!!! End off...but will always support Cardiff City home town and many memories of me and my grandad going there as a child!

    Anyways back to the topic!

I don't like the idea of an Englishman captaining Wales and in fact even playing for Wales whether its Turner Whittingham or Wlliams, but the rules are the to be exploited! I believe Ramsey shouldn't be Captain of Wales as he can't even play regularly for Arsenal but Coleman made a huge mistake...he should of taken the armband off him straight away and not wait a few games as this is surely going to alienate Ramsey, then we look at other potential candidates! And no one really stands out the captain has to be a guaranteed starter so you look at players position by position! Henessey a good keep but to me you need a captain out on the pitch controlling things not keen on goalkeeper captains! Then you got Taylor and Mathews too young to do the job so there out of the question! Then the CBs Blake isn't Captain material leaving Williams who is captain of a prem club playing week in week out! Not performing to his best but nor is Ramsey! Then we go to midfield Bellamy is going to retire soon so no point making him captain...Bale is our best player by far but I feel giving him the captaincy might put to much of a burden on him and would affect his game! Then we come to the middle with Allan great player yet again still young and learning his trade and needs to focus on this without the pressure of leading Wales! The other CM isn't guaranteed so you can't pick them. Then were left with donkey Morrison lol no chance! So let's be realistic there is only one candidate and that is Ashley Wlliams!!! But to me I would rather have James Colin's as captain he's experienced and has picked up his form for west ham but can he get into the welsh team?! For some reason we pick Darcy and Williams! Maybe Darcy should be moved out to full back (while taylor is injured) and bring Collins in middle to Accommodate him?! Who knows but the fact is with usual starting 11 there is only one option and that is Williams

A mutual opinion from a Cardiff Fan

For someone that has "travelled" half of europe, you don't half talk crap.

I'v been to many a country, and half of them thoght Waes was part of England, let alone know what clubs came from there.

****Removed because there are decent fans here and it was a rumour****

Sorry H, but he's asking for it. He posts up crap about us constantly, and then tries to back that up with rubbish like he's trawled half of Europe and America and they all know about you. They don't. Some only know of us because of the fact PL games are shown on TV alot. How old is he again, 21? USA, Europe, Brazil??? And in UNI? My arse.

    Apologies to the decent Bluebirds.

i dont think most people see it as 'we cant have a jack captaining wales', if say taylor was a vocal player who was a dominant figure in the squad i dont think people would complain, but the fact is that this is a dig at ramsey who, although vetch i agree he hasnt been 100% in recent years, is still a key player and coleman has alienated him by saying he has felt the pressure, which he didnt need to say....

Bellers is a used up, spat out; by his wife, has been so who cares about anything he does on or off the field.

Throughout his career, he has picked which international games he doesn't want to play in, by suddenly developing a 'phantom' injury or simply because he doesn't like the manager.
He uses playing for Wales as a training or promotional vehicle for times when he's not been starting or playing for his club side. He is now and always has been a traitor to our cause and our cause, regardless of whether he 'likes' the manager or not, has been Wales' qualification to a major tournament.

Rambo is a top young player, so let him play. Rambo plays better when not captain anyway so I can't see the fuss.

Ashley is a top player, strong enough to handle the pressures imposed by captaincy, so let him be captain. Simples init.

The resistance and reasons for Ashley not captaining Wales appear to be simply racist and are unacceptable in this day and age, the 21st century, that's where we live now, the 21st century.

Ashley may have been born in England but he gives his all for Wales. On the field he is Welsh and there is no one better in the current set up to Captain Wales.

Shame on your xenophobic resistance bloobys but why should I be surprised. It is to be expected from an intellectually stifled tribe armed only with championship/low league experience, footballing equivalent of sticks and stones.

Your mindset is affected by your bitterness towards the glowing success of the MIGHTY SWANS. All the time you squint at the bright white light of SWANSEA CITY AFC's amazing success and as the bright light burns apparitions onto your minds, it hurts you too.

Everyday you allow our success and glory to break your tribal hearts and because of our success you are tainted, lesser, incapable of sound reason.

So, open your blind eyes, Rambo is a superb player who doesn't need the pressure captaincy, without it he is a better player. Ash is a strong and resilient individual who serves us well through thick and thin and he deserves your respect not your vile racist recrimination.

very much looking forward to this years comedic episode of your long, long, long running series
"How We Blew Promotion" Season 5. Luv it

Surely if he's not Welsh enough to captain Wales he shouldn't be playing for Wales full stop? Can't have it both ways.
