Oh yeah, the one with John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Fernando Torres, Essien and Ramires in.

And their starting XI was older than ours.

Haha i guess it is, have always avoided betting against them though. Nothing worse than losing money because a rival has done well :). Not that it would happen often in the case of Liverpool!

Its not often the big sides all win in the same weekend is it?

    United
    City
    Chelsea
    Arsenal

Sure they mentioned it last season as being rare or is it quite common? You would think its quite common wouldnt you?

We have been gash throughout 2012 bar a couple of cup games.

I don't really know why, because I know for a fact our players are much better than most of the ****e in this league and should definitely be able to keep pace with the likes of Newcastle/Everton (and finish above them probably) but we just don't and are miles off even them results wise at the moment. Maybe its the lack of balance in our squad? As the quality is quite heavy in the defence and centre of midfield but there's not much out wide and upfront, Suarez apart. Either that or a mental problem.

I mean as if we should be behind a team that has Darron Gibson, Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert as regulars.

Yep. The one where only Ryan Bertrand started the CL final, playing in a different position. Terry et al were only there cos they were suspended, and JT was treating the game as a warm up for his CL victory lap <ok>

Your choice in managers hasn't helped imo! Though i won't comment on BR just yet i believe all managers should be given time

And that effects their playing ability how? They were still in that team at Anfield.

this weekend has been about stamps, dives, elbows and poor defending in the PL, expect Huth and RVP to get 3 game bans but Fellani does the same against Wigan and gets yellow

Fellaini would play 1 in every 4 games if he got the proper retrospective punishment. It's pretty much an elbow per game with him.

    RVP wont get banned tbh.

If he does it will be a 1 match ban for a second yellow but I dont know if the FA does that.

Cabaye taking a few months to go down will be his defence as its quite clear he does so to try and get RVP sent off. Yellow card offence really but as he was on a yellow a 1 match ban will suffice.

Tiote and Huth though..... 3 matches each

Maybe, seen the incident from the match ( not MOTD ) and its clear Cabaye play acts.

A ban for Cabaye aswell for intending to get a fellow pro sent off? Obviously not as that doesnt happen but its clear as day that is his intention.

Huths defence for his stamp is that in his country its a term of endearment <ok>

He is German so its probably true.

How much is it to do with the managers though!? We were 2 pts off top 4 going into January when our league form just fell apart. BUT we still beat City (@ the Etihad) & Man Utd in that month. It was just bizarre how we almost always found the winning goal in the cups but couldn't in the league.

I would like to know why we fell apart in the league but we managed to carry on winning in the cups. It made no sense.
