That was the single worst performance I have witnessed in the entirety of my season ticket holding... Which is only 4 years, but still.

Thank god Man Utd are a piss-poor version of what they used to be, otherwise it would have been a cricket score. I think ratings of 2 across the board would be very very generous... I couldn't believe what I was watching. So disappointed after seeing such a good display in midweek. The first 15 minutes have got to rank as the worst our team have played in the premier league era, although I welcome counter-offers to cheer me up!

I'm not going to blame the ref, because our players were diving quite a bit and there wasn't a clear view of some of the incidents, the fact is we'd have been better off not turning up (that way Man Utd would have had to at least pass between each other, instead of us doing all the hardwork for them by gifting them it). I clapped several of the Man Utd players, thought they were poor overall, but individually had some very good moments to stroll to a comfortable victory. The Man Utd fans were fantastic again, congrats to them, deserved victory in the bag. <ok>

A rocket up our arses might be good for Derby day, so let's hope Alan rips them a new one!

we just need to stop with this long ball **** as it doesn't work but we were actaully quite good for periods today and if we got the 3rd who knows.

Lets not forget who we were playing either

I don't really think Man Utd had to do anything to beat us, which is ultimately the most sickening thing. We know we can take the game to this Man Utd side, but today we just capitulated... Just abysmal.

If we play anywhere near our potential, no way would they have beaten us by 3-0, but we didn't and they walked it.

Think Ferguson at left back was a bit crazy against the attacking power of United, by the way, and he was blown away in defence.

The Man Utd fans were great as usual. Always very good down at their place too. A warm friendly bunch who like to talk football and make you feel at home when you're there. That's before and after the match of course.

We were woeful in the first half and Pards didn't come out of it with any glory, hopefully lessons will have been learned and we'll get it all right on the 21st.

    As close as we got.

Other than the first twenty minutes I thought we were ok, not great but held our own. My main worry of late is Tiote, looks a shadow of his former self and has done for a while now, going back to the latter part of last season.

Unfortunately when you have a Championship centre half up against world class movement you're always likely to concede, add to that the fact Pardew decided to change formation every twenty minutes and you have a recipe for disaster.

Wait, weren't you on the Spurs board last week saying that the foul on Nani should have been a penalty?
That being the case, how can you claim that this shouldn't be a penalty based on it?
It should've been and you think that it should, so why shouldn't this one?

My point exactly. All week its been about how it wasnt a penalty. I could bring up a million posts about how there were no penalty shouts last week. A dive as some on your board put it.

Im just following the crown PNP.

Of course it didnt look like a penalty, I dont even recall any Newcastle players appealing bar Cisse who sort of half heartedly did so. Ive only seen one or NU fans mention it aswell tbf. It was a shirt pull but the one last week was worse and if thats not a penalty then to be consistent a ref cannot give the one today.

    Simple really.

Yep, thought exactly the same thing mate! Think most of us thought we'd try and score a couple against their (also weakened) defence, but we were too poor to bother De Gea (he is very very **** in my opinion, palms and punches everything whilst closing his eyes! But again we couldn't make use of it).

Problem is that their weakened defence consists of two seasoned international centre half's, our's consists of one 6ft 5" championship centre half (that actually jumps 4ft 5") and Perchy who is a solid DM but never a CB. Seriously though, Williamson is slow, clumsy, poor with the ball at his feet and jumps shorter than his height, should be nowhere near the first 11 of a team looking to challenge the top 6.

Ha sorry I've been watching back to the future, I figure if I can get a flux capacitor I can ensure you end up cleaning my arsehole after I've had my next turd.
