I said the same however I think Rodgers' took him off because he was getting the **** kicked out of him
I've said this many times - he;s been like this for at least 2 years. But the odd decent performance against a big rival will erase everyone's memory of the dross he serves week in week out.
The one where Suarez lost the ball and fell to the ground only to lunge himself forward with his arms flailing despite not being touched. Do learn how to speak to people in a polite manner instead of letting yourself and your supporters down by being an arsehole.
Yes really. Of course I want arrivals too, to replace the dross going out the door. Half our team today isn't good enough to be playing, they are a second string side to be nurtured (in the case of youth) or a last resort (cole). Poor BR is only playing them cus we're so ****ing skint and owners are to scabby to shell out for a few serious ****ing names.
We did, but then couldn't score, hit the post, etc. Just soul destroying, I hope we get someone of a top class talent to finish in January. Suarez get Cavani on the phone lol.
Haha true - but Suso looked like he could handle it. Shrugs off the challenges and kept the ball. He has a bright future that lad. Thought Sahin was very quiet today though.
Wasn't the only one. No one had the balls to step-up when it counted. God how many wins is it now at Anfield since last Jan? Something like 2 ffs?
What a load of old ****e. Woodwork 3 - Liverpool 0 Still clueless in front of the Stoke defence. We just have no clue what to do to score against them. I had really hoped all the new talent would make a difference, but obviously all the team talks have put the fear of Stoke into them. Rodgers got the substitutions so wrong again. Gerrard needs to be dropped, he plays like someone who knows they are the first name on the teamsheet. Yes he made a couple o runs here and there, but was just so lazy and wasteful at other times. Joe Cole was a waste of space, and Assaidi never saw the ball. Think we needed a bit of Shelvey today, and maybe a bit of Hendo, alas we'll never know.
Ha ha, your point is kind of muted by the word "arsehole" there. And I knew what dive you were referring to & which you called "shameless" I asked you when you've seen someone dive "in shame" (the opposite of what you said if that helps) you illiterate prick. I was also calling you on the fact your only contribution to the match thread was to point out a dive after 70 minutes not the multiple times Suarez was kicked to the ground before that. So your contribution to this thread is less than worthless so **** away off to the rest of your lot...oh wait your board is dead as a dodo isn't it? But you can **** off anyway.
We need a good right sided (whether right footed or not) player in January. Suso can play at the head of the midfield. Stevie... Legend but was terrible today.
Something to do with Gerrard being on the pitch...? I think we will see the best of Sahin when Lucas and Allen are next to him Suso was superb today. Shame we can't say the same about the referee. I have absolutely no problem with the way stoke play, they are playing to their strengths which I think is fair enough. However, I also get annoyed that because they have this reputation they are able to get away with more. IMO, Stoke's style isn't the problem, it is the refereeing. If they want to play like that then fair enough but the referee should treat them like they do every other team, book them! If they end a game with seven men or worse and the game is abandoned, so be it. Whilst I'm talking about reputations. Suarez has one for diving and apparently that is why he isn't giving as much as he should, what about the defenders reputation...? Huth is a ****ing yob and everyone has known this since well before Suarez arrived on these shores
THink shelvey is still banned. and as much as I want it to not be the case, I think Hendo would have been equally a waste of space had he come on - not like he's ever won the game for us or energised the side tbh
CHRIS!!! Make it so that the poll closes before the game starts. I'm sick of people filling in the vote after the result
Sterling, as good as he is, was looking very tired by the end of that game. I don't know if it was from so much work, or so many chunks taken out of him.
