I am being sensible, if we click and hit form then we are more than capable of scoring four. Our centre forwards are Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie. That equals goals.

It wasn't a prediction anyway, if it had been I would have said we will win 4 -2. It was more a vague punt that we will hopefully win what should be an open game by a couple of goals.

When was the last time you faced both the previous season's top scorers in one game though? I think we'll score a few. Whether we win or not is a different matter.

Strong looking line up but Nani not even in the squad for the game.

Make of that what you will.

    Carrick Cleverley
    Welbeck Rooney Kagawa
    Van Persie

Hope thats how we line up. Will be narrow though as we have no width at all.

Something or nothing really I suspect. Maybe he has a knock, maybe with Valencia back hes being rested.

We are playing a narrow game I feel for this one and with only Nani being the only fit winger ( if hes not injured of course ) It would be lobsided so as my line up above shows it would make sense to have welbeck as part of a second line attack.

Don't think the manager said anything in his pre match news conference about Nani being injured.

Doesnt matter really. Buttners also not in the squad either. Just one of those things.

Was Nani in the pre match squad? Buttner was.

    No Fletcher either.

Wouldnt read too much into anything really, big squad, long season. Think hes picked the right team this time.
