Mayson, Peace Berg, Great Heavens and Blue Soave are my 4 for the meeting. Great Heavens is a confident ew selection for the big one.

Got Sea Moon covered off at the 10.5/1 mark. GALIKOVA is my selection in the Prix L'Opera. Gets conditions to really suit and last two runs have been solid when running on well behind SHARETA and SNOW FAIRY. This, dare I say it, is a bit easier. Depending on how Galikova gets on depends on whether I have a covering bet for the Arc. Sorely tempted.
Montefeltro is a very lightly raced four year old who managed to place in both of his maidens in his two runs on the flat. He hasn't been seen so far this season, and presumably the yard have taken their time to get him right for his new career over hurdles. He isn't going to have to be special to win his race today and at 11/4 he is a fair price. Bab Al Salam is a more experienced horse, this six year old gelding, has had eight runs with five wins on the flat, including a trip to Meydan and wins on the polytracks of Lingfield and Kempton. He has been off for a while (nearly two years) so I have to assume that the yard have given him time and are only running him because he is perfectly ready for the run. Again, he will not need to be a world beater to win today, and he is also 11/4.
I've lumped on Great Heavens - I think everything is in her favour today, ground is perfect for her, the race ought to be run to suit and hopefully Billy Buick can keep her out of traffic problems. Also backed Nikita Du Berlais in the Cadran and a cheeky little double because you just never know
Longchamp=2-05.Olympic Glory. 2-40.Izzi Top. 3-25.Camelot (win) Sea Moon (e/way) Great Heavens(e/way) Good luck to all.
A member of Longchamp staff was reluctant to let Aidan O’Brien out to walk the course. The trainer said of underfoot conditions for Camelot: “It is not ideal but we are where we are. Hopefully it won’t be too bad.” (7 mins ago) Latest from the Racing Post. Blimey.
I think most of Ferguson's have been needing the run Nass, and both of these are coming back from pretty long absences. I'm glad to see he's using Jack Quinlan again though - very good young jockey
After seeing the ground at Longchamp and how heavy the going seems to be I have just doubled my bet on Great Heavens. Very few of the runners will appreciate it as much as her IMHO.
I hate the Prix de l'abbaye, and as a result I'm not betting in it whatsoever. However, I wonder if at 33/1 in places Beyond Desire isn't a touch overpriced. She's never ran on heavy but some of her best form is on Good to Soft, and having previously beaten several higher than her in the betting, and with a small fillies weight allowance, I think she could be amongst the places. The draw is poor, but starting quite wide could help her get a prominent position, which would be vital for any horse in this silly little dash of a race!
if I had to bet in the Abbaye I would go for Hamish, but luckily I am not betting on the French meeting with bottomless ground.
Had a heck of a result already today. Owing to the fact ive had a heavy cold for a week i am not allowed to go and see great auntie lilian as she's 93. so i'm stuck at the mother-in-law's with the racing uk freeview. bingo. gonna stick with a few brits at pari-mutuel and hope for some silly returns. starting with swiss spirit and beyond desire. already backed yellow and green at 33s thankfully, terrible price now, and saonois seems a decent price.
