Yes. They remarkably beat Bath City 2-1 on Tuesday night and they players were so buoyed by this they agreed to stay until next Thursday when the Conference deadline is set for them to sort it or be expelled.
Trouble is, Cornwall is so parochial, there are actually people from other towns are glad that they are going through this. The big picture is obviously not showing at their local cinemas!
But we live on until Thursday 11 October.

This weekend did not hold too many surprises in the Championship but there was still drama.

Leeds were given a penalty that should have been a free kick outside the box. Becchio scored the only goal in the game from that spot kick.
The Watford game saw the 8th player sent off in 11 games by referee Mr Rushton
Ipswich Town opened the scoring against league leaders Cardiff City - with a truly blatant handball (I actually think he may have hit the ball with both hands?)
Peterborough Utd's winning run came to an end and Leicester City won their 5th consecutive league game.
Crystal Palace won again with Zaha scoring twice to beat Burnley 4-3.
Wolves win at Blackburn and sit in third place but Bolton lose 2-1 at Millwall
Blackpool surprisingly lost 2-0 at home to Charlton Athletic
Birmingham City lose once again and are just outside the drop zone but have a 3 point cushion over 22nd placed Sheffield Wednesday

    League 1
Tranmere go marching on with an away win at Notts County
Crawley lose to Brentford and slip to 6th place but Swindon record another victory.
Coventry pulled themselves out of the bottom 3 with a 1-0 home win over The Cherries

    League 2
Wycombe get their first win under new boss/come rock star Gareth Ainsworth - Gary Doherty with the opening goal.
Port Vale were the only side in the top 3 to win, the other two drew with Gillingham still sitting pretty at the top.
The goals dried up for Jamie Cureton as Exeter lose at home to Port Vale 0-2

I'm surprised you failed to mention that "The Doc" scored for Wycombe!

For those waiting with bated breath I have returned from my trip to Lincoln. As my daughter had other guests we stayed at the Charlotte House and spent most of Fri and Sat night in the Strugglers and the Victoria. Brilliant!! Went to see Lincoln v Luton - not so brilliant!! Lincoln were all effort and no skill - Luton were all skill and no effort. Good crowd who seemed to appreciate the effort put in and amazed at the number of Luton supporters who turned up. Lincoln were far better than when I saw them earlier this season and certainly looked capable of getting out of the bottom 4. Any light at the end of the tunnel for Truro Redruth?

No game this weekend mate. I don't know whether thats a good or bad thing. Bad that they didn't have any income but good that they didn't lose any money either. The League has given them until Thursday to come up with a bond or they are expelled. And like the thread about Kettering, I fear the worst. With a £600k creditor, unless a new owner brave enough to offer a penny in the pound, which is morally wrong anyway, comes along its curtains.

I have to apologise for a very elementary error on my part. As you saw they lost 2-1 and on footballing ability alone it could have been 5-1 to Luton but the Imps kept in the game by effort and attitude and right at the death could have nicked a point. They have a long way to go on the road to recovery but there has to be 5 or 6 worse sides than Lincoln in the Conference.

Another thing I noticed was the number of players who I had heard of when playing in the 3 lower divisions who had fallen into non league football despite still being in their 20's. Luton had Stuart Fleetwood, Scott Rendell ( I think we were interested in him at one time ) and Dean Brill with Peter Gilbert and Colin Larkin playing for Lincoln. Luton also had the veteran Mark Tyler in goal who started his career with us before moving to Peterborough where he made nearly 500 appearances.

Must admit, I keep an eye out to see how Dartford are doing.
Have kept an eye out for them ever since we played them in a friendly a few years ago.
Had a nice little ground there. Could change ends at half time, and they opened up the sides, so you could have a *** break at half time <ok>

Thai - In case you didn't notice the Imps had a great result on Sat beating Wrexham - who are 2nd in the league - 4-2 away.
Redruth - You may have mentioned this elsewhere but any update on Truro?
For anyone else who is interested I have just returned from visiting another daughter who lives in Crawley and Son In Law took me to Crawley v Bury. Crawley were by far the better team but in the end were lucky to win by a fluke goal in the 2nd minute of injury time. The only tactic Bury had was to hoof the ball into the general direction of Bishop who is really a much slower, more unfit, lesser talented version of Andy Carroll. Crawley do suffer from playing in an awful stadium with little atmosphere and also suffer from lack of support because of close proximity to London and Brighton. They do try and get punters through the turnstiles with kids for a quid offers and deals for families and parties but as they could only attract just over 3000 people when all the big London Clubs and Brighton were not playing it does not seem that they are making much progress. Can't say how much it cost to get in as Son In Law booked the tickets and treated me but I did notice that the hospitality package consisting of admission to the game in the hospitality area, a four course meal with 2 glasses of wine, access to a bar before, during and after the game, free parking, match programme and access to the Manager and Players after the game was £65 which I thought was good value. I might treat my Son In Law and Grandson to that when I visit again later in the season.

Truro's game with Dover on Saturday was cancelled which is going to get them some form of punishment by the league at some time. A buyer is supposed to be waiting in the wings but he has to pay off the debts and put up a £50K bond. I hope its sorted one way or the other this week.

I heard about that and heard the Dover chairman talking about it, he said that he has lost loads of money which they paid out, he wants compensation which is not good.

Would be interested in an update Redruth. The headline on the BBC website says ' Truro expelled from the league ' but when you go into the article it says that the Club has been saved and will start playing again next week.

I too put on text as it said Truro expelled, which page 1 of 4 went on to explain but page 2 then said two guys had come up with the bond money. The club still has to find a buyer, someone to pay the creditors off. Two were mentioned, one involving a consortium involving the old owner (how can that be allowed) but the players said they would walk if that happened and the other bidder was a guy who's companies have been bankrupted in the past. Saturdays game has been cancelled but next Tuesdays is going ahead.
The head was in the noose but the trapdoor didn't quite open so they live to fight another day but new owners have to be found so the players can be paid. If they drop any more points they will be history in Conf South and heading back to where they came from.
