Who would you have in flyer? And what impact do you think it would have? I fear more turmoil changing back room staff and starting again. I think you may need a lot of gel quickly in those circumstances.
The spend stat is daft ,different times This club is as mentioned earlier in transition , we in all truth have no idea what that means This was an important rebuild from the foundation upwards and yet everybody want to play jenga
Benitez is out there unemployed but it doesnt matter who I want, i just know Hughes is not the man for us, just like 'arry isnt. Poyet is a good young manager although he is a bit too arrogant for me.
Dave you mentioned that Hughes had built a great squad. I think he has bought great players but has created a disjointed squad. My main divergence with you is that you think he can take this squad and mould it into a creative winning side at some point in the future whereas I think he doesn't know how to deploy that squad which I believe has been proven by results to date Unlike you I make no judgment as to who is correct nor taunt opposing view holders as somehow of lesser importance or in some way less superior This thread has run its course. Close this chapter and let's get back to SWP & Park
Nope I fight my corner and if you think I about to limp off on a subject I feel passionate about then Sorry Wubba no dice ... There has been some dreadful stuff on here which IMO is a just collective of views who are soaked in negativity which I consider to be a cheap easy shot at something magnificent that is happening to QPR It's fair however I have put across too much gear to piss people off. That's me I fight and I win in life and have no time for moaners I should be more understanding I know but I am cursed with black or white and fight fire with fire ... No offence meant
How cliched. You ain't won this one matey, not by a long way. If you think you have, you are more deluded than Hughes!!!
In his mind he cant lose, if Hughes is sacked and we fly up to mid table, he will just say Hughes would have done the same thing. Even now, people are convinced Warnock would have kept us up.
Apart from you I haven't seen any real suggestions to answer my post For all the moaning we seem to have no idea how to fix anything we just want to sack our manager and his team ... How great is that wisdom A cheap and fickle shot IMO do I guess that the posters expect a new man to come in and accept the excellent squad Hughes has put together ... We stick with Hughes as I believe it will come good IMO And no one has any better ideas do they ... In life I eat pressure and can't stand for weakness if you have no better solution then that opinion is just hot air
Good post that. I'm not convinced about 'arry either tbh. For a start, it would possibly mean Taarabt going in January, as 'arry never fancied him, although I would hope he would be given a fresh start as that was a few years ago. It's a weird feeling for me. My head says that we must give Hughes time and that stability is paramount. My heart (and half of my head I suspect) is screaming "get rid" before it's too late.
Would perhaps be like the Martin O'Neill effect at Sunderland last season, when the same squad of players started believing in themselves?
WTF are you on about? You are rambling man. Get a grip. I have faith in the squad NOT Hughes. He is tactically inept. I have already posted on this thread as to where I think he got it wrong. May I suggest you stop reading wooly minded American sales technique books as well? They don't do a man with your obvious intelligence any justice at all.
I think Martin O Neill would be like Martin O Neill and Harry would be like Harry. He would spend in January that would be for sure and we will be going round and round . Flyer thinks Benetiz or Poyet ... One would need a war chest and was wasn't great at Liverpool. Poyet has Brighton Rock in his blood at a club that is growing fast what would be different at us Brighton are a very sorted club can't see Poyet leaving there
Cant see Poyet leaving Brighton tbh. All my colleagues at work are Brighton season ticket holders and they tell me he has really caught the bug for Brighton. Obviously loyalty in football today is few and far between, but Brighton are doing well and in with a shout of promotion.
