Doesn't need an op. "Just to let you all know I'm not going to have an operation which is great news just got to get my knee strong again now #roadtorecovery" Good news, hope he's back in the first team soon.
Great news. While your back on the Road To Recovery just stop off in Doncaster and give someone a kicking.
I agree to, i think in the 3-5-2 he offers someone who will track back, i know a lot of you think he doesn't work hard but the past year he has worked hard on that side of his game, and he can collect the ball off the defence which is something we have missed.
Think he will start to break out his shell if he makes a full recovery in decent time. However it's a bad injury to come back from so maybe we should look further towards next season to expect him at his best. Hope he's back soon though and proves his worth on the pitch, very handy little player and was really starting to perform at the standards we all know he's capable off towards the end of last season tip he got crocked.
Great to hear off a poster who recognises when a young player has worked on the weaker part of his game. So many make up their minds, and stick to that opinion,no matter what. It's as if they have a fear of being wrong. Which is silly, because they we're right at the time. I love it when a player proves me wrong.
Not always, the last time I was really proved wrong by a player was manucho, and I certainly didn't love that.
Glad to see you're coming round to the right way of thinking Cairney has a reputation of being a bit of a luxury player, but one of our home games at the end of last season (possibly Forest but I'm really not sure) he made 3 or 4 massive tackles in the first 10 minutes, it really is an unfair rep he's got himself.
For me...he will never be a first choice. We have better players both centre mid and wide. He isnt a play maker or proactive enough. His work rate has improved but at the level we need/want to be ....he isnt good enough
As Iv'e already said, some will never change their minds. Being wrong,is just too much for some. It's sad because being wrong is a such a learning curve.
yes and they could run. His passes are limited because he can only kick with his left. That's why he passes back most of the time or sideways to fullbacks.
Who is wrong??? you have an opinion and thats all it is.....tell me....with a fully fit squad would Cairney get in? In my opinion (wihch is as good as /if not better than yours ...no!
